Weird, what is not working on the classic site, just the drop downs?

Thumbs up Looks great

As a new member, I can say that the change is very welcoming, at first I found it kind of hard to get around the site and did think it was a pretty dated look, but the content kept me in. Now the site looks fresh and loads much quicker.

Great job!

When I saw things had changed I thought I might have to whoop somebody, but I like it.
I just click on the new post link and can see what's new.
The random picture thread had always been very slow to load and the more pics and gifs that were on a page the slower it was. Sometimes to the point of giving up on it. It's much faster now.
Well done.

Agreed. I was feeling curmudgeonly at first. Must be JP rubbing off on me.

Will there be a way to upload images from photobucket instead of having to upload them locally from your computer? I know you can paste the photobucket IMG code into a post, but is there a way to do that say for the garage images?

You should see the search bar in the upper right corner of the page. It's set to google search as default but you can click on the g icon and a drop down option for VB search will appear.

Not for the garage but you can embed Photobucket images in posts.

Not sure if this is an issue with the new layout or just the way it is now but before the change we were able to post pics from photobucket at full size.
Obviously they would be scaled down to size but if you clicked to enlarge the would show full size within the forum.
Now it seems no matter what you do it restricts the size of the pic....

The resizer respond to the size of your browser tab but if you reopen the image in a separate tab, you'll view it in it's full size.

I think he means that pictures are larger or original size since the upgrade, instead of re-sized to taste in the user cp

I believe its working as it should on mine if Im understanding every one right?

The test pic is sized down a little bit and if I click the banner as it says it makes it a little larger.

I'm not at home now so cant tell If Its any different on PC now, but what I am saying is that before the new layout pics posted from Photobucket with the IMG code were always scaled down to fit within the thread, but when you clicked the bar on top they would expand to full size in the same tab, same window, in the thread. Some as big or bigger than full screen.

For an example of now, I recently posted pics from Photobucket in the GSXR camera club thread and the originals are full screen sized images. If you click the bar on top to enlarge they will only enlarge by like a half inch lol.

@admin Why do my mentions reflect when I mention someone? Wouldn't I want to know when someone mentions me and not when I mention someone?

@VS Jeff I think you are misreading what I am saying. I can get to the mentions under:

"Welcome, BlueNwhiteGSXR. Visited Today 108 AM Your Notifications 148 Subscriptions"

When I click on my mentions it tells me I mentioned someone else. Not that someone mentioned me.

See now it tells me I mention Admin Where do I see who mentioned me??? I had 2 mentions but I can't get to them

Well that worked. When I logged in it said I had 2 mentions. when I looked down the list I didn't see any new mentions of my username. I'm in here everyday so they couldn't have been old.

Don't waste anymore time on it and if it happens again I will come back and let you know
