Hi again, I have been away from the forum for a while and not riding unfortunately but thankfully i am back. I had not ridden my K1 1000 for about 9 months so I put in the battery and fired it up and everything seemed to be excellent, filled up the tank and went for a spin all was great. Decided to go to watch some vintage races and got caught in a crazy amount of rain, the bike ran great no matter how miserable I was. So yesterday on a beautiful day I decided to go fat a 500 k ride every thing started out great but after riding approx 200 k my instrument cluster started going blank and the tack would drop then a few seconds later it would come back to life on and on the bike was running great. I pulled over and checked and couldn't find anything. I do need to fix/clean/replace the secondary throttle body sensor, so the F1 light is on but it has been like that for a couple of years a garage told me not to worry it would just run a little rich and fix when I felt like ti. Does anybody know if this is a known issue for this particular bike?
