K4 600 going through batteries

This is the second battery I've went through in the past 2 weeks. I don't want to keep going through batteries. The stator and rectifier are brand new

Are the batteries going dead or overheating?

Have you checked the charging voltage at the battery? (14.0 - 15.v @5k rpm)

they are going dead. The stator and rectifier are brand new. Would a smaller stator the oem cause a charging problem?

Check battery voltage then remove negative cable, wait 5 minutes, check it again. If the voltage goes up, you have something draining with bike off.

It really is simple man.
Either it isnt charging at least 14V at 5K rpm or its over charging and cooking batteries.

If there is nothing draining it when bike is off, it's one of the above.

What kind of batteries are you buying?

have you checked voltage with the bike running at 5k RPM yet?
