Clutch Adjustment

is there a way to adjust where the clutch release on the lever. I know you can make the lever tight or looser but can you change where the clutch comes off and on?

i dont have a damn manual or i would just look there?

thanks.

Also when i hold the clutch completely down and shift into first. It makes a clicking noise? and i shakes the bike?

Yes. Do a search on "clutch adjustment." There are actually a few good writeups in here.

>i dont have a damn manual or i would just look there?

You could do that too. But get a damn manual, you will need one.

>Also when i hold the clutch completely down and shift into first. It makes a clicking noise?

Um, yeah, normal for wet clutches.

>and i shakes the bike?

Then quit shaking it.

Here's the thing - this is a frequently asked topic. Oil is another. I suppose there should be a sticky for clutch adjustments someplace, but takes a long time to type out a procedure for doing a major clutch adjustment when you can search and get the same thing. So I'm sorry if I come off like a dick, but I don't want to end up with three thousand identical clutch adjustment writeup threads, that's all.
