Need help with kick stand switch

Anybody knows how to bypass a kickstand switch on a 03 busa

well.... off the top of my head.....just take the button off...or make sure it always has a closed circuit...telling the bike "kickstand is up".....

dont know why one would want to bypass it but if i did i would jst unhook it and twist the wires together.

ya..i wouldnt change it.....and if your bike wont start with it down?......shift into neutral

he has a weak kick stand spring, my guess would be to duct tape it.

If the springs are worn out, just go to bikebandit.com and get new ones. They're cheap and easy to change. If your really hell bent on bypassing it, cut the wires and see if it will start, if it wont, twist them together and try again. Its gonna work one way or the other.

If its a weak spring hardware stores have new springs. Dealerships have been know to have springs

I'm not sure if your switch makes contact or breaks contact to let the ignition know its ok to start the bike. Better have that straight before going which ever way you alter things.

get a service maual for your bike and you should be able to get all the answers from it.

i have a 1992 gsxr 750 and i was going to install a side stand switch on it but their is now connector to hook it up or wiring anywhere to be found ... do you know how i could rig one up and how ?? thank you
