How can you test for a faulty ecu?

01 -03 600 or 750

Is there a way to test the ecu on the gsxr600? Or is the only way to swap out with one that you know works and runs a bike?

Also I am want to test the peak voltage on the spark. only looking for 80v... Is a a peak volt adaptor for my multi meter needed if the multimeter tests up to 1000v? I am only looking for 80v from eash wire. Or will i fry my meter or my self with out adaptor when cranking bike over?
