Looking to get a feel of who is from where and what you ride. I know, I could just browse the new rider section or profile by profile but this is better. Post where you are from and a picture of what you ride.
There's a thread like this somewhere but it won't hurt anything to start a new one
I'm from Winchester Kentucky.
I started riding a 60cc Allstate scooter in 1966 and now I ride an L2 750.
I live in one of the square states. The one that garfield says doesnt exist. I dont even know how to ride a motorcycle. I am just here for the cookies and beer.
Or I ride a k3 1000, I cant remember which it was.
Well, to make a long story short, by the grace of God, Mama was born & raised in the South. Have her high school year book which states, Lillie loves to talk & practice makes perfect. She was a GRITS girl (girls raised in the South).
My father was a Yankee from right here in Princeton. Grandfather Fritz, the same. When my parents had a 'discussion' my father would say, Lillie, the South lost the war, stop digging. My mother would say, the South will rise again. They would both laugh & so ended any disagreements.
Me, Princeton is pretty much all I know. In 55 paychecks we will retire in the South where the gun laws are sane & I will be free of liberal Jersey & the outrageous taxes.
Rocking winter currently up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I own two bikes, ride one, other is a project that gets worked on when I got free time which should be a lot more now. Unfortunately, I went from a heated garage to a insulated garage from my last move which sucks because now I have to store my bikes at my parents place which is 30 minutes away. So summer i can continue the project and hopefully getting it done this year so I can find another project to start.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
