What is your favorite track to ride?

My favorite is JenningsGP in North Florida. I have not had the opportunity to ride many tracks but do love JenningGP. Barber is an amazing track and very technical with nice elevation changes to keep things interesting.
Opinions??

I've only been to Barber once, years ago, but Road Atlanta has some major elevation change. Such a fun track.

Out of the three somewhat close tracks to me, VIR north and RA are right up there. I get to CMP the most and I always have a good time.

My personal favorite is Barber, even though it is double the price of anything else in the "area." Then again, I live in central Arkansas, so I have to drive about 6 hours to get to any track, so why not splurge on the track time itself?

I have only ridden three tracks so far, and I like them all, but here they are from favorite to least favorite.

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway
Inde Motorsports Ranch
Arizona Motorsports Park

I ride AMP the most because it is only 15 min from my house.

Have only been there once, but NCM might be my new favorite. So my order would probably be:
  • NCM
  • Barber
  • Road America
  • VIR North Course
  • RPM/MAM (still like the layout and it's the track I know best even though the pavement is currently terrible and there are parts of the tracks you just can't use anymore - praying for repave!!!)
  • Blackhawk Farms (more for the local following - fun but not much runoff)
  • Heartland Park Topeka (bring it back!!!)
  • Grattan (though it's the home of my favorite event)
  • VIR South Course
  • Gateway

Have spectated at COTA, Laguna Seca, and Road Atlanta but haven't ridden on them.

There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. -Joey Dunlop

@tigerblade.

What put NCM at the top of the list?

I know STT runs events there and it is just on the fringe of a doable distance for me so I'd like to ride it sometime.

Fun layout (has a long left hander that's right in my wheelhouse). Pavement was perfect. Don't have to worry about seams, ripples, etc. Kind of like Barber in that you feel like you're riding at a "real" racetrack.

Hello,

I've only been to few here in Oz where I've actually ridden my own bike on the track, ( otherwise being a team-mechanic ), but they've all been lots of fun, irrespective of their "stature" in racing circles. I hope you don't mind me posting.

Philip Island = Obviously a world class track, but sadly, makes any bike feel slow...

Broadford = Surrounded with a natural ampitheater of hills in Victoria, this short & twisty track really tests yours, & the bikes stamina.

Oran Park = Sadly, this track has made way for developers in Sydney's West, but I preferred it's technical dynamics as a track to Eastern Creek.

Mac Park = A novice & rough track in South Australia, but still has it's own qualities that makes for a great day out. Very affordable, & great for testing new kit.

Cheers,

Rastus

POCONO .....FUSA
NYST......downtown
Monticello......North
Monticello .......North CCW
Lightning .....NJMP
POCONO ......EAST
Monticello......South
