MCRA @ Hallett with videos

this weekend MCRA will be doing a round at Hallett, here in oklahoma, if anybody is close enough, cough cough (tigerblade) cough cough, come on out and ride or just spectate if thats your thing. I'll be representing the gixxer crowd this time with my new ride and hope to make it's inagural trackday a good one. If I can get the gopro to work I'll post up youtube links next week.

first time on the gixxer at the track. boy was it different than the R6. didn't seem to be able to flick it over from T4 to T5 real fast like the R6 does. had good speed on the straights however and the brakes worked well enoughto keep me on the line. it started to get some brake fade by the end of the session though. I think if i replace the pads and drop the front forks in the triples maybe down 5mm the bike would ride better. other than that it was a great day and I got a hot fudge sundae so big i couldn't even eat it all.
session 1
session 2
session 3
session 4
session 5
session 6

Sorry just seeing this - will check out the videos in a bit. Next time use the @ symbol to tag me (like @thomas74p ) and I'll get notification. We actually went to Iowa this last weekend to get my daughter moved back into college so couldn't have made it anyway. Had a few friends down there though.

What are you running for geometry now?

didn't know about tagging people. thats some good info.
I've left the geometry stock. just got the front and rear synced up with each other and the sag set to a standard amount. All things considered, the bike did really well. it was only 2.4 sec behind my all time personal best and was on par with other august trackdays. and for stock everything and being my first time on that bike at the track, well, I consider it a good day. it handled that motard corner really well also. (session 6 turn 5 exit about halfway through the session).
If i wasn't so lazy I would say -1front and +2or3 on the rear sprockets would make my day a bit better too. I noticed my RPMs were very low in the corners. but I sure aint gonna use first gear either.

Saw your other post and put some geometry comments there.
