Tire tear track days

My front looked good no tear, but the rear was showing some tear I think, have some balling up of rubber maybe not scuffing it off well.
Im still confused with hot tear and cold.
Im suspecting I needed a little more air in the rear.
Any input appreciated.

Tire looks good. No tear at all or rebound issues.

Thanks man, it just looked different from the front. Front looks smooth like a street tire.

No expert here, but that back tire is working pretty hard on your 1k compared to the front.

It also looks normal to me. No feathering either.

What cold pressures are you running?

Also, this was at COTA? I heard it was a super smooth track. I was on VIR in August right after they re-paved it. Many commented that the tires were smooth as can be (like street wear) with no balling.

I was running 30 rear and 31 front. Rear showed some rise in pressure to about 33, front didn't show any rise in pressure if my memory is right. It was about 70F degrees that day.
