Dry ground? Several delays to the start. Just got to the finish, but no spoilers from me. Very exciting race.

If you guys are on Facebook, you need to check out the "Dear George" letters. I'm a Lorenzo fan, but they are trolling him hard....

I really don't know what happened with Lorenzo.
I thought he may have been the best most consistent rider on the circuit but towards the end of last year and this year he's gone downhill.

The Ducati curse....

Last year, from what I heard, the Yamaha team was just so sick of his bullshit they weren't even talking. They just threw the setup from the previous year on the bike and had this "whatever Jorge" attitude towards him. I heard they also stuffed it in his face and took him down a couple pegs and had Maverick show up to start contract negotiations just before a meeting with him so Jorge could see him in the office. I guess it was really ugly behind the scenes. Jorge was putting the blame on everyone but himself and claimed there was this conspiracy that Yamaha was giving Rossi and the satellite teams better data and parts. He was just a diva about everything rather than realizing he was part of a team.

Speaking of divas.... did anyone catch Crutchlow's post-race interview? Problem light on the bike, it was easy to keep pace with Rossi, etc. WTF ever Cal. You had a good race and were the only one that could keep pace (and finish the race, Marquez and Pedrosa should learn that) with the Yamaha boys. You need to learn a bit of humility and admit when things come together, you perform well. Maybe you and your team should ask the question "what did we do to bring this together" and try to repeat that process before you finish out of the points in COTA.

This made twice I've seen post race interviews with Crutchlow where I was not impressed with him as a person and a racer.
He's a great rider and I'd like to like him but I just don't.

Cal is an arrogant guy. I've seen it on more than one occasion.
These guys who do well on the Yamaha and think they'll dominate with more horsepower are sadly mistaken once they make the move.
Anyone who can win on the Ducati usually does even better on a more rider friendly bike.
Rossi had a quick mind change after his experience and of course made it back to Yamaha.
His attitude seems to have changed this year, he's far more friendly to other riders.
Maybe he's come to terms with age and accomplishments and happy to be doing well.

The race to tear down and pack up his garage? Of course he does.... he'll probably get a 20 lap head start.

Crutchlow should celebrate any race he finishes without crashing.

I'm looking forward to an exciting season. It seems like Michelin is better prepared for delivering tires worthy of GP.

Maverick is very consistent now it seems.
H gets faster as the race goes on.

I can see him chasing down and passing guys who think they got it.
If Marc doesnt crashout COTA he will have an experience advantage at that track.
Having ridden there, it takes some time to know all 20 corners , entry and exit points.

The first turn is hard uphill which allows for late braking but is also a blind corner as it drops off.
The elevation changes play a factor also.

Theres two more corners which are blind as well. Experience pays off there.
Remember Lorenzo over shooting turn one there numerous times?

Man I wish Vinales was on that Suzuki. Oh well.

I'm really psyched for COTA. Would love to be there. Marquez just keeps killing it there but he has some serious competition. Rossi crashed out last year, Lorenzo was in 2nd on the Yamaha w/ Iannone in 3rd on the Ducati. Now Lorenzo on the Ducati and Iannone on the Suzuki.

I hope Lorenzo picks it up this year. He is an incredible racer, like a fucking scalpel out there when he gets in front. Apparently he cannot deal with a pack though.

Zarco has been fun to watch, he's great to have up there in the mix. Crutchlow was riding great but what was with that douchey little speech? Did anyone tell him he came in 3rd?

I'm still rooting for Rossi, but the more times Suzuki is on the podium the better.

I'm hoping to finally see marc and maverick scrap it out in texas next weekend but I have a feeling marc wont be as fast as he has been at COTA in the previous years coming in with a big bang engine instead of the screamer

Watching Friday free practice...evidently Lorenzo compared his actions to a tennis player who smashes his racquet in a moment of frustration. I guess he sees his bike as an inanimate object.

Really happy for Maverick, really bummed for Rossi!
Looks like Marc has found his match this year.
Zarco is coming fast guys!
I predict Lorenzo will not stay with Ducati.

That is all.

I'm disappointed in Rossi for making a silly mistake like that. I know he wants nothing more than to win, but when you run in that hot on a corner you can't make up that much time in the next one on 27 1/2 lap old tires against someone who was putting lap records down at the end. Should have just taken the second and been in good striking position going to Mugello.

Holy train wreck in moto3. Synchronized crashing at its finest.
