Year: 2004
Model: GSXR1000
Story: The bike was pretty much stock when I picked it up in early 2013. I was going to use it as a commuter bike and to enjoy on the weekends. Put about 20,000 miles on it in the first year. I used to ride the twisties up North on the weekends and decided to start doing track days in mid 2014, which was the best decision I ever made. I continued to ride the twisties for a little longer, but decided that type of riding wasn’t safe, especially because my wife just had our son. Decided to convert the bike to full track duty in early 2015 and haven’t looked back. Now I would consider myself a full blown track addict. I love this bike and plan on running it until it finally gives up, which doesn’t look to be anytime soon.
