Welcome. Pics of the stable of bikes please.

Some local friends have been having a blast on the Ninja 300s and RC390s.

Welcome

I have a K5 LiterBike also- <14000 miles thus far- had it about 3 months
I pleasantly envy you - the # of bikes, AND a track bikes too.
I'm too married with children, and can;'t afford a track bike.

Hwever, as said, pics or it never happened

The K5 1K pics will have to wait, parts are everywhere, and it's a project.

Thank you for the welcome... MadeInAmerica -- I may go to AMP, the little bike is together (the big bike is too loud, nothing else is track ready)... may bring a couple of newbies with me. Haven't signed up yet.

The 848 pictured, I bought it like that a while ago, then put most of the stock parts back on, and sold it last month. About the only parts that would fit (with a little work) are the K5 are the CNC Brembo Race Kit calipers (Superbike FGR's use the 108mm/22.5mm Brembo Calipers just like the GSXR), but should sell those, new they cost almost double what I paid for the K5.

Welcome
Holy crap dude. That is an envious stable of bikes. I like Ducs. Too much maintenance for me though.

I'll be there. Going with a guy that moved out here from Chicago. This will be his first track day in AZ. What exhaust do you have on your K5 1000? There are some loud bikes there.

The 848/1098/1198 bikes are nice to work on, but expensive if done at the dealer. Maintenance on the stock bikes is valve adjustment, with the aggressive cams and RPM's it's something that needs to be monitored every 7,500 on the street... and the dry clutch doesn't last long on the 1098/1198 variants. Belt replacement is simple every 4 years or 15,000 miles to be on the safe side. Aftermarket options are brilliant. Anyway, no agenda to sell people on the brand, and I have been a Ducati owner for only 3 years.

Let's meet up there.

The K5 has a Leo Vince system with an Arrow silencer, it's very mellow. The big bike is the one with the 1198RS motor, that thing will make people's hair on the back of their neck stand up 30 yards away, it sounds like the devil. It's not the exhaust, packing is new, same exhaust on an 1198 engine sounds like smooth jazz. We'll see, I'm not coming empty handed, this would be my first time at AMP since well before they closed.

Sounds good. I'll be there on the electric baby blue bike in my avatar.

Over the last 9 months, the Yamaha FZ09 on the street as I've taken up the challenge to make it into a pleasant bike to do everything on the street with.

Before got the Yammie, rode the 1198 on the street exclusively (it's in project mode currently)... for non-street use AKA track use during the last two years, the 1098R (only doing 2-3 track days a year in current old man mode).
