Random Ticking

I have an 03 GSXR 600 that has a light ticking usually when warm around idle to 4k rpms. Its off and on and I havent noticed anything other then the noise. what could it be?

Make sure all your exhaust flange bolts are tight at the cylinder head. Possibly exhaust leak.
When was last oil change?
(by the way, check oil level with bike straight up, not leaning)

GSXR's are pretty notorious for having a bit of valve chatter. Usually when cold.

Change the oil, make sure you use the correct amount and weight. Too little can definitely cause it. At 15K you are due for the first valve clearance check IIRC, while in there you may want to also check that the cam chain tensioner is in good working condition.

otherwise, check the items mentioned; exhaust leak and stuck chain link could be possibilities.
