Read and enjoyed your blog and pictures. We do have some nice riding here in Canada.

With the introduction of the gore Tex equipment I never carry a rain suit. These new suits just work so well in the rain and protect respectably well. No doubt that leather will slide better but I think that unless you're at the track and going at 10/10ths you can compromise and use a GOOD GORETEX SUIT (like RUUKA, Aerostitch or KLIM) and they will provide good protection. I just hate having to stop to put on the rain suits and how they just don't breathe and you get all sweaty.

Just my 2 cents!
