charging problems

so im looking for a little help if anybody can. i bought a bike that needed a little bit of work. the bike was not charging so i bought a new battery. bike ran for about an hour then battery was dead. so i bought a regulator rectifier cause i had this broblem before. i recharged battery and ran it. the battery died fairly quick. i rcently replaced the stator cover, so i figured i must have damaged the stator in the process or the previous owner did when he laid the bike down. so i bought a new stator. the bike ran fine for about an hour. i turned it off and the battery didnt have enough power to turn back on. i jump started it and the bike runs fine, but again when i turn it off the battery doesnt have enough juice to start back up. is it possible i ruined the new battery running it dead them two times? any help would be great.

Yes you can ruin a battery that quickly, that does not mean you have,

Your bike will not charge up a very flat battery.

Put you battery on a charger, when it is fully charged, if it is ok, and will start the bike, do so and test the charge rate with a multimeter.

Specs for charge are in the service manaul.

You must have a good battery in the bike to test your charge rate.

Mona is the champ. It's like a tactical hit, bam there it is then gone with out a trace.
