Been running with he Piper Cross filter for a some time now but cam across this one and thought "why not" so I haz now.
I'm impressed with the making of it as it is not the norm that I'm aware of as it's not 'floppy' with a rubberish frame, it's solid and could probable hurt someone with it if I wanted to.
Real reason I bought it was for the filter media, one piece/layer not counting the mesh that maintains its shape, can supposedly filter better that what's on the market the market that we a custom to but can see light through it. Race filter like but maintains street sensibility supposedly.
I cleaned out the air box years ago when I installed the Piper Cross filter after I had cleaned it (didn't oil it after cleaning) and it remained clean, not even a spec of dust and that is with looking in it a couple a times just to clean it so we will see how the Sprint unit does in that aspect. I doubt I will notice a difference but as long as it keeps the box clean I'll be happy with the unrestricted air flow.
