They just help keep your RPM launch consistant. So you dont have to watch the tach and keep your throttle hand steady. You still ahev to slip the clutch and so on tho.

Shamrock Has It Right...i Have The Rpm Set Then I Start To Stage And Right Before I Launch I Go Full Throttle And Then When I Want To Leave I Try And Slip The Clutch...main Purpose Is To Get 100% Throttle Off The Line And Not Have To Look At Your Rpm While Racing...i Love Mine And The Sound Cool!!!

There are no stupid questions just stupid people!

and remember BIGGER is not always better!!!

Ive been thinking about one myself. the only hard part I would have is that I dont leave the line with the clutch lever on the grip, i like it slightly off it a little.

In my opinion MPS is about the best shifter out there for its money.

i have one it works great. easy install, mps is a great place to buy one their customer support is awesome. i bring my throttle hand on until i hear the two step start and the freeze throttle hand until it is time to go. i have installed the old nlr 2 steps and these are much easier to install. cory
