full arata,bmc filter,pcIII, good map,-1/+1...couldnt ge a good 60 foot all day..track was slick....should run in the 6.15-6.25 range in the 8th mile and 9.40's or so in the 1/4...i was happy for the condition of the track though...outside temp was around 50degrees

mine and the yellow bike are close in mods...he went a 9.42@149.25 ...hes running a better tire than i..and was getting 1.60-1.61 60 on every pass...my best of the day was a 1.699 :(

IM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!! lol, I can wait to climb on minem gotta wait until March. Tri-state opens the begining of march for test and tune. The serious racing doesnt start until april for me though. Nice times though.

^^^i'll probably be up at tri-state or edgewater some this season, now that i have a bike.

Im not a big fan of Tri-state, but they start running in early march so I go up there to warm up and practice after a long winter. I ran at edgewater last year, theres a class I like to watch, the OSCA, and they ran there last year and we figured while was going to watch them wed bring the bike and run, new track new crowd, it was cool. Ended up with 3rd, got beat in the semis by a drag bike with a crossover delay box, god I hate them. If the osca run up there again we'll be up there with the bikes. Ill keep my eyes open for ya.

just talked with a guy from tulsa yesterday,,his wife run's a zx-10,she went 9.51 at 153...swears the bike is stock..pc and pipe ofcoarse....guess what,,everyone that runs in that class swears there bike is stock :D

yeah i hear alot of "controversy" goes on in that class of racing

The guy on the yellow bike looks like he is running in jeans...I've never seen a dragstrip where they would let a rider on a bike that fast, especially in the 9s wear jeans. All the tracks around here you have to wear full leathers. MIR in Maryland would used to let you get away with just a leather jacket as long as you didn't run faster than 11.00s. That sounds like a cool track you all are running on.

the particular track is pretty cool as far as the rules for leathers....ive seen guys run mid 10's in a short sleeve shirt...i myself wont run unless i have a jacket on for sure..the pants thing is ok for the most part ..i started off the day in my 1 piece leather suit....then i swapped to pants/jacket....the suit is so heavy and was wearing me out..the owner of the track makes u sign a waiver when u come in and he will allow fast cars/bikes to run one another. hes all about anything being fast and having street characteristics....and its the closest 1/4 mile track ..

not yet...but have map and exhaust off the yellow bike in the pic..on u4 it made 172rwhp.. i am pulling the motor this week to shave the head and do a good valve job and degree the cams..then will have it on dyno for sure....i plan on running ama prostar this year..thats why im trying to squeeze every last hp from it that i can.

think its open every sat and sun..12-4 right now.....later on it stays open late on friday nights

Only mods were micron slip on PCIII lowerd and swingarm extensions.

hmmm,then that 06 gsxr should go 6.2 no problem.....
