hey phpohpracing,,i'll run you 1 mile,,will see who can stay on the rev limiter the longest  ..... PhqOphRacing 01-20-2006, 01:47 PM Could be interesting..... I think it would end up a race of who could go the longest with out spitting a valve shim out. SmokeEm 01-31-2006, 03:00 PM why in the hell do u want to see who can ride the rev limiter the longest????? Anyways I heard that with a very good rider that knows the gears just right and who knows the bike well can get a 600 to start at 0 to 100 and then back down to 0 in 6 sec. I know it might not be a mile but just figured I would share the information. skibum91 02-06-2006, 09:03 AM why in the hell do u want to see who can ride the rev limiter the longest????? that doesn't sound right because 0-100 time on a 1000 is over 4 seconds. gsxrace01 02-06-2006, 10:09 AM why in the hell do u want to see who can ride the rev limiter the longest????? it was just a joke....... 03GIXXER1k 02-06-2006, 12:20 PM http://www.dontbescaredracing.com/ suzukik3 03-01-2006, 11:51 AM 1 mile is a lot! plenty of bikes will hit almost top speed if not top speed with that long a stretch SILVERK5 03-01-2006, 03:17 PM I went 171mph on my 1000 k5 (as per bike's speedo) and it took a lot less than a mile...and at that point I started thinking about my licence and what a cop would tell me if I went by one... and slowed down... but the bike was still pulling strong...but I would have topped off (reached top speed or hit the rev limiter) well before a mile... fugative1377 03-06-2006, 08:31 PM a zx7's 0 to 100 time is 5.6 seconds 1996 to 2003 so i read somewhere ill find the sight and post it.it had all kinds of model bikes 0 to 100 times breaking times top speeds stock and so on | |
