I'm glad somebody started one of these. Its needed to been done for a while now. I don't watch speed at all anymore because all it is in nastrash. It needs more bike coverage.

you guys should come to australia! we get a dedicated commercial channel for f1 they also do the world superbikes and moto gp plus world rally. if you get bored then fox 1,fox2 do wsb,wrc,moto gp all 125,250 as well and on the odd occasion american superbike plus isle of mann tt,all of this can be seen live most of the time. if you like round and round racing (nascar,irl)then espn is the go,i like the nhra so i'm a happy camper but i sighed to help you poor deprived people in the third world countries. :lol: P.S;my wife hates motor sport :laughingr

Have you guys EVER heard of one of these online petitions doing any good? I think they're just fisching scams that are there to gain some personal info, or at least your email address...so they can put you on their spam list.

well what do you expect? NASCAR is huge.........much bigger that motorcycles. They are gonna play whats gonna get more air time I would think. Yes, as much as it sucks, but its the truth. NASCAR fan base is fucking huge, it might not be big in your states, but most of the country is into NASCAR, just even look at the hosts on the channel. But I do enjoy the ocassional shows they put like Top Gear and 5th Gear, I love those shows, haven't seen it on the channel lately. What someone needs to do though is have a channel dedicated just for motorcycles.

I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and all we get via the cable company is the regular Speed channel with it's 22 hours a day of Nascar programming.... I am sure there whould be a market for a more diversified Speed channel. Like when you go to europe. They have a Speed/fox sport equivalent where they race everything: F1, MotoGP, Motocross, Boat, Trucks (the big rigs!), Rallye, Paris-Dakar, swamp boats, cigaret boats, even PLANES!! That's what I call a speed channel. Wish we had that here in North America.

i posted a complaint about this 8-9 months ago...all i got was," what do you expect? nascar is huge." nascar last 10 months and there are way more nascar fans than there are grains of sand on the beach. there is this asshole that works for me....all he does is talk about Dale Earnhardt and how he made four left turns to heaven.....and other retatrded rants about how great it is. i can appreciate the tech stuff on the cars...but can't watch a race.

I must say I am guilty of watching some of a nascar race last weekend. In my defense it was daytona it's a fast track and i wanted to see a wreck. I was so pissed when i didn't see a car flip. And jesus christ I swear their fucking off season is only 2 weeks, and then it's back to turning the TV on Sunday and hearing some fucking redneck yell "BOOGETY BOOGETY BOOGETY, LET'S GO RACING BOYS". I shit you not, he actuallys says that. God when will football get here, oh hey the draft is in a month or so, yeah that's cool for about an hour. Oh sorry I didn't sign the pettition, I totally agree with you guys but don't think it will work.

This whole petition thing is stupid. You guys have no idea that these things don't work. I'll tell you what works: EMAILS!!! Remember when that vid of the Speed radio commentator who got so ticked off from all the emails he received about how Speed was biased favoring NASCAR more so than MotoGP that he started to curse on the wave? That's what you want to do rather than jumping on the bandwagon signing some stupid petition. Here's another example: During the World Cup, Korean citizens from Korea complained and wrote to FIFA's website how they were disappointed with the refereeing (sp?). The site was bombarded with so many emails they had to restrict the country of Korea access to their website. Talk about power in numbers...wow! The news spread so fast to other countries that they too took part in sending emails complaining about similar controversy calls their soccer team suffered. Apparently there's a rumor going around about how the referees are being bribed. If you really care, then bombard them with emails!!!

Streetfighters? Enduros & trials? There are other forms of two-wheel out there besides custom Harleys. This whole thing's getting old. If the sport is to grow, the media has to get away from this tiresome formula.
