At 2:45am February 1, 2006 a great man left this world to go to a better place. James Rhoades 69 of North little Rock Arkansas. He had been fighting Kidney, bone, and Brain cancer for only 3 months. The doctors said there was a 98% chance he could get over the cancer and live a healthy life, well may have been so but he got staff infection and 3 days after they found it, he passed away. He had one kidney removed and the staff shut the other down. I was by his side yesterday along with my mother grandmother and aunt, he asked for his nurse and told us he was done, and wanted to go home to Jesus. It was very sad but we told him we understood and we was proud of him, and my grandmother would always be taken care of. He didn't die then, but at 2:45 am today. It's a sad story, he wasn't a bike rider, but he loved riding horses. I just post on this website so i hope this doesn't get banned. Please pray for my grandmother that she can get through this hard time. Thank all of you.

That Does suck! I lost 3 relatives with a year...It's not a pleasent time.

Sorry to hear about your grandpa. I lost my first grand parent 5 months ago. I am looking for an anchor tattoo to remember him by. He was in the US Navy when he was young.
My grandpa wasn't a rider either, however I drove 150 miles North to his house early this summer and had to hide my bike from grandma, but I snuk grandpa outside to see it. At 74 he was very impressed with the size of my gonads to ride such a machine.
