2nd worse trackday I've seen

Yesterday was the first trackday of the season and only 2 weeks for opening CMRA race for the year. Weather conditions were less than ideal with temps in the morning in the mid 40's with a sustained 15mph wind gusting to 30mph. My clutch on the R6 was slipping in 3rd, 4th, and 5th resulting in me "only" being able to reach 144-146mph down the front straight. I believe there was a total of 7 crashes and one was very serious. Track was shutdown for about 30-45 min. due to having to pull EMTs off the back up ambulance to ride with the primary ambulance to treat the rider. One rider AND his bike ended up over a tire wall. On the plus side, my suspension was smooth as butter and the tires (Michelin Power Race PR1/PR5) worked great in less than optimal temperatures. Woot woot...track season is upon us.

haha then you've got issues if you won't go outside till its that warm. Your going to ahve serious trouble if you ever leave florida. I've ridden plenty when its 50's. ya i look forward to a few r/s, lstd, and long horn track days but glad it was some what decent at tws despite the unfortunate stuff.
