ZgixxeR 12-08-2004, 09:23 AM I lost another friend this weekend. He was 27 years old. His name was Tony D. Thomas. He got killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident. He was alone and had just left his house. I heard he was riding a wheelie and lost it, probably due to cold tires. He could ride a wheelie through all the gears and was very good at them. He taught me a lot when I was learning to ride wheelies. He will be missed.
If you don't have something nice to say then don't post here because I will ban you. I don't want to hear anything about him being a squid or anything negative. I know he was doing something stupid and that's what killed him so don't post anything negative.
Godspeed Tony D. Thomas.

ZgixxeR 03-15-2005, 09:54 AM should teach you all the intelligence of doing wheelies on actual roads and not in protected parking lots.
I'm not calling him a moron, but it is stupid to sit there and ride a mechanical device at speeds close to highway or greater in a way it wasn't intended to be ridden and expect to not have any problems. I hate that this happened, I've lost friends in bike accidents before, but at least they were on both wheels geared up and not being complete fools...
it's sad that half of this forum is dedicated to completely avoidable accidents if you simply don't act like your penis needs some growth via showing off on the road sometimes.
You can die in parking lots too. There aren't many abandoned runways around and that is the only place I know of that you have little to no chance of dying from an accident. You're not calling him a moron, you are calling him a fool. He was on a road with NO traffic and right by his house. WTF is a protected parking lot? Are they making parking lots with Nerf buildings and curbs? Protected my ass. He was very good at wheelies, and could ride them 1st-6th gear like he was on two wheels. It was his time to go and nobody can change that now. I am going to try and believe you didn't mean what you said as a put down towards him.
An apology might keep me from turning into an asshole and banning you for flaming my deceased friend. You know you should think twice before you come to a site and make your first post talking shit about an Admins. deceased friend. It is also your only post. I will wait a couple more days for that apology.

last thing anyone wants to hear in this forum is a lecture about how it was avoidable or what you think shouldn't be done on a bike. we all know the risks of doing things like this, it's not about showing off it's about riding how you want. on two wheels or one the riders are gone and may they RIP

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY, SINCE I HAVE LOST FRIENDS WHO I MEAN WERE LIKE BROTHERS TO ME....JUST LOST ANOTHER ONE THIS TUESDAY...HE HAD GIVEN UP RIDING, HE HAD AN HEART ATTACK, SO I GUESS A PROTECTED PARKING LOT COULD HAVE SAVED HIM TO.....SORRY TO SOAPBOX..BUT I UNDERSTAND THE PAIN OF LOOSING FRIENDS....NO ONE NEEDS TO HEAR NOTHING BUT CONDOLENCES, ALL OTHER COMMENTS NEEDS TO BE LEFT UNSAID...RIP TONY D AND COOPER (my friend)
ZgixxeR 03-21-2005, 10:37 PM Thanks guys. We all know it's hard. I lost another friend today. I hadn't seen him in a year or two but he was a good guy. He was 22 or 23 and went to sleep last night and didn't wake up. I will have more info later. I wasn't close to him but I feel really bad for his family because they were good people and he was so young. You can go in your sleep at 22. YOU CAN DIE IN YOUR SLEEP. No more soapbox for me either.
RIP Matt Finley

My cousing was 17 when this happened to him. He was in great shape, and a football player. To this day they still don't know what happened. He just went to sleep and never woke up. The worse thing is it tore the rest of his family apart and turned his father into an alcoholic. Hopefully your buddys family has the strength to get through it fine. Its tough but a fact you have to deal with. RIP.
ZgixxeR 03-22-2005, 09:27 AM Thanks Ski. All I can do now is pray for his family. I hope they are alright. I know that they are going through a really tough time right now.
