The new Gsxr for 2005. is coming...I cant post picture but it will have 180 HP, 163 kg, and 120 Nm of torque :thumbup:

I don't like the pipe. It looks o.k. to me but I think they should go with underseat exhaust. I like it except for the pipe.

I like it except for the pipe. underseat exhaust is gay (i have a RR), i can barley fit my wallet and cell under the rear seat and you can't clean up the back with an undertail cause all the undertails look dumb...

I have been tossing around the idea of leaving the GSXR scene. The idea now is totally out of my mind thanks to the new 05 GSXR 1000

I personally like how the signals are integrated into the mirrors. Undertail not workin for me either. But other than that its bad ass lookin.

i gotta agree that i dont like the pipe or the undertail but then again those are the first two things most people change after buying a bike anyway so i like the bike overall

That exhaust looks likem its welded on even at the mid pipe looks like its welded. The 750 doesnt have the ugly ass exhaust or blinker/ mirrors. They just fucked up the 05' 1000.

dang, i've started a dispute all b/c the 05 1K is fugly and i've decided to purchace an 05' R1, just kidden i know it's not a dispute, i'm just doing it as a what i think looks better and performs well, all 1K's are bad ass some just have a cooler look than others during certain years, so i'll use the R1 as daily rider and my alstare as my track bike. good luck to everybody who buys new bikes this year. it's your own money so pick your color and go :thumbup:

To me it all comes down to handling. There has been a lot of R&D on the handling and weight of this bike. I like the way it looks and love the new pipe (Yoshi) that you can get with it. I have a 1K and would go down in size if anything on my next bike. I won't be purchasing any new bikes for a few years unless I total mine. I personally like the 05 gixxer 1k. Only thing I am kina not feeling is the turn signals on the rear of the bike on the tail section. But then again I think it would grow on me after time. I personally own the o4 gsr-r 1000 black and silver scheme atm and I have been really pleased with it so far ... From what I read they lightened the bike up about 20 more lbs and added like 4 or 5 more cc's. This is just insaine how they keep adding more HP and lightening the bikes up so much

that bike really does not look that bad.....and i actually like the flush rear signals..not too fond of the mirrors/blinkers combo but fuck it, i'd rock that bike :headscrat maybe an '06 750 isnt out of the question after all

I dont like the 05 1K at all.... The pipe is ugly as hell. I dont like the curves at all. But the specs are real nice. I agree that an undertail would have helped a lot. That pipe has got to go.

I like the new GSXR1000, prefer the curves of the 750 better, but I am sold on the 1000, because of the power. I have already spent the money for it, and honestly cant wait for it to arrive! :thumbup:

I had the opportunity to talk to one of the big wigs from Suzuki America and he said that the gsxr would never go to and undertail exhaust because that it does not help the perfromance. He also said that Suzuki makes changes for one reason Performance. It was kind of cool to hear what he had to say, he alos said that they are going to come out with a special edition 05 750. i have seen pics of it and if i can find the hyperlink to it i will post it for you guys to see. He also said that the exhaust will be changing as well soon they will all have a european look like the 1000.

not really much of a fan of the turnsignals but its not bad, would mind seeing something thats integrated and comes out flips out or something along those lines, the exhaust has to go though, not a fan at all but other than that its looks good

There is none, thats for sure, but your not driving a bike for its storage capabilities, or its looks technicly. Suzuki says the 05 liter bike has a lower center of gravity than any other, as a result of the funky pipe... which looks much better in person. FYI. High mount. Stubby or an undertail is the way to go. plus.. the liter is a beast.. get the 750 and smoke all you liter riding buddies save 2k and you can replace all your fering with 600 parts! as they are the same... and likely to be much less expesive and hard to find. in every way but straight uphill... the 750 will kill all. Turns like a 600. feels like a 600 and GO's like HELL!

I got mine last week and I'm very impressed. The pipe is kind of dorky looking. But stock right out of the box, this bike will fly!
