RIP Florida does not have a helmet law, I wonder how many of those deaths were related to drinking and no helmet. :headshake

One part thats not mentioned that i heard over 200+ motorcycle accidents occured too. I live close to all these events and nevewr go because of this sort of stuff. Its very sad. R.I.P and prayers to those injured during this season.

I know of one of the accidents, it was one of the sponsor business owners for speedfreak, inc. He was ok thankfully, but the bike needs some heavy repair work, and I'm not 100% on the details, so I'd rather not say right now. IT just sucks. RIP to the lost, and Get well soon to the injured. I hope that doesn't happen at Laconia.

I would guess that it would be safer to be riding with a large group, especially because vehicles would be more likely to see an entire group of people than a solo rider. The article really doesn't say whether some of those people were drinking or something. Not to say that they were, but..... I thought some of the accidents sounded like "stupid" ways to die, like when the article made mention of the bike that ran into the other bike......
