usdm420 12-28-2004, 12:19 PM hi kids, today's word is skin graph
gixxerk1 12-28-2004, 02:41 PM I didn't know they made kevlar reiforced t-shirts. Haven't you read any of the posts in here? I suggest you go start with the "crashes" section.
tibofew 12-28-2004, 05:28 PM Well I got 16 years under my belt and I have been a AMA pro rider for the last 4 years. So believe me I know what you guys mean but...... when its a 100 degrees out side in the night that will change your mind quick...
usdm420 12-28-2004, 05:39 PM then it gets changed right back after 1 mistake
tibofew 12-28-2004, 06:38 PM well then you worry about yourself
usdm420 12-28-2004, 07:26 PM oh trust me i'm not worried about you
r_meintel 12-28-2004, 08:11 PM Hey Tib....Don't be a dick. We are just looking out for your safety. I am sure some of your riding buddies have told you to wear you gear also.
r_meintel 12-28-2004, 08:12 PM Oh yeah I almost forgot. Nice wheelie.
skibum91 Thats some nice gear ya got man!

skibum91 01-05-2005, 10:59 AM Well I got 16 years under my belt and I have been a AMA pro rider for the last 4 years. So believe me I know what you guys mean but...... when its a 100 degrees out side in the night that will change your mind quick...
16 years under you belt doesn't change the fact that some dumb shit in a car can sideswipe you or tbone you or run you off the road. I ride in 100+ degree weather, thats what they make vented gear for!
We were just commenting, if you dont like the comments then don't respond to them.
bigjimbo 01-05-2005, 12:20 PM dont forget blow outs.
its like the guy that wore no gear to run up to the store ate crap on a turn at like 20mph and still got rashed beyond belief.
Textile....they breathe
tibofew 01-09-2005, 10:53 PM well when i crashed with my textile it stuck right to the ground ripped right off me thank god i didnt get no road rash went right into the dirt so i will never waste my money on textile ever again but i usually have my joe rocket balistic on me that keeps me safe  which just saved me bc i just highsided today at around 90 mph at the track so ill be buying some parts for it. but hey i did set the lap record lol but i feel like shit and im to sore to lay down right now. o9h yeah did i mention crashing sucks!
dalifts 01-10-2005, 12:35 AM Well I got 16 years under my belt and I have been a AMA pro rider for the last 4 years. So believe me I know what you guys mean but...... when its a 100 degrees out side in the night that will change your mind quick...
That means jackshit when your on a streetbike. Look at indian larry. Been riding all his life. Doin the same stuff. Could of done it blind folded. Did a christ air and bam fell. Now he's dead . R.I.P
gixxerk1 01-10-2005, 08:49 AM That sucks about your crash tib. Track crashes are the worst cuz insurance won't pay, but at least they make you wear your gear and you usually come out of it with no injuries. You're right though, crashing sucks.
granny 01-11-2005, 05:34 AM Well I got 16 years under my belt and I have been a AMA pro rider for the last 4 years. So believe me I know what you guys mean but...... when its a 100 degrees out side in the night that will change your mind quick...

slapnutz 08-01-2005, 11:38 AM glad to see your are covering that rear brake.
04StreetGSXR 08-01-2005, 05:43 PM man here in louisiana you wanna talk about bad weather, first it almost always humid cause rain comes whenever it wants. itll rain for one min then be sunny the next. i wear my gear all the time, know to many people that got meesed up from not wearing it one time. but nice wheelies. like he said why do you not cover the rear brake??
nbm02ws6 08-07-2005, 12:07 AM Where is it 100 degrees at night? I live in Phoenix and the highest the temps are at night in the middle of summer are high 80s/low 90s....
blue600 08-07-2005, 01:26 AM Thats some nice gear ya got man!

usdm420 08-07-2005, 07:46 AM well when i crashed with my textile it stuck right to the ground ripped right off me thank god i didnt get no road rash went right into the dirt so i will never waste my money on textile ever again but i usually have my joe rocket balistic on me that keeps me safe  which just saved me bc i just highsided today at around 90 mph at the track so ill be buying some parts for it. but hey i did set the lap record lol but i feel like shit and im to sore to lay down right now. o9h yeah did i mention crashing sucks!
sounds to me like the jacket did its job...its not steel. its a $200 jacket AT BEST..i went down on asphalt with a textile and got a big patch taken out of it, but that would've been skin without it.
imagine how your textile shredded...now replace your textile with your skin :headshake
Motojoe_23 08-07-2005, 07:54 AM glad to see your are covering that rear brake.
If you have enough skill you dont have to cover it in highway wheelies. I ride 3 mile standups and keep the balls of my feet on the pegs, nowhere near the brake. Never been over backwards, and never been close, hell I can coast a highway wheelie and not touch the brake.
Keep it up man and dont worry about these haters. You know what you are doing, and know the risks all to well. Your lack of gear doesnt hurt the rest of us in any way.
To the rest of you :stfu: :plzdie: the man knows....... leave him the hell alone. This is how forums scare of new members.
usdm420 08-07-2005, 08:19 AM screw that!! BAN HIM! hahahaha sorry i'm in a bad mood cuz i got called into work on a sunday morning.
