Nyc BBQ!!!!!!

Ok so I have been a member of the site for about a year now and a rider for the same amount of time..I have meet some great people on this site and even better riders...So I think its time that we New Yorkers have a BBQ of our own. Summer time is just around the corner and the weather is starting to get a hell of a lot better! Lets get everyone together and start planning for this and make it a BBQ to remember! Lets show those SoCalers how to throw a BBQ!

Good shit...then its settled..as soon as the weather gets a little warmer we will figure out a central place where we all can meet that will work for us all. after thats decide we will assign people to bring certian things so one guy doesnt have to break there bank....lol or we could just all bring an equal amount of food each to make it fair...we will work out the kinks as it gets closer...Wooohoooo!!! this is gonna be a GREAT!

Count me in! I am new to the forum and can't wait to meet up with some other riders in this area. Any groups get together in the NYC area on a regular basis? Tell me when and where. There are two of us looking to ride with a group and check out some nice twisties.

Ok..so we were thinking that we should have the BBQ up at Bear Mountain. it's close enough for everyone to get to and they have there own grills that we can use..PLUS...the roads up there are really nice so after we are done if people want we can go for a ride around the mountain.. What do you think?

Sounds good to me, Bear Mountain also has a pool there. So you have the good roads and you can see some T&A poolside. :bowdown:

Well Im done with work, on paid vacation until July 13th :bounce wish this motorcycle class would hurry up and decide when they're gonna class up so I can finally get my license. I know I cant hit twisties yet but Ill see if I can convince my girl into going up there.

almost ready!!! just got my ignition set yesterday... still waiting on the right mirror...(yep, bike was a little damage due to a stolen/recovery incident recently) can't wait man.... :bounce gosh, i hope the leathers still fit! must have gained a few pounds these past few weeks!

hello everybody, i am new to this site but have been watching these chats for a little bit, acutally my girl turned me on to it since she chats in the ladies lounge about gear and how to start riding since she wants to take the riding corse. i have been riding for about four years and i just got my first gsxr after a few other bikes that have been crashed, stolen or sold. its been about a week and i love this new bike of mine. i have plenty of riding buddies since i work at a bike shop in the city but I would like to ride with some other gsxrs and meet more riders as well, i think i acutally saw some people from this site about a month ago on east houston it was about seven gsxr so i figure this is where you guys met. so anyways i work long hours but usually take night rides around the city; LIE, SAW MILL, JACKY ROBINSON, SOUTHERN STATE, etc. so if anybody is down to ride let me know. i also saw the fact that you guys are trying to orginize a ny bbq(dont really know if it happened yet) and i am having a birthday one on sun june 25 on my block, so if anybody wants to come they are more then welcome there will be plenty of bikers although no suzikies besides mine. if anybody is interested let me know so i could give you directions, it will be BK. so with that i hope everybody rides safe and talk with you guys soon.
