My winter toys, the 240 I use mostly just to go to work I don't drive it at all in the summer. I was suppose to paint it before winter, but it snuck up on me hence the black fenders. The sled is fun but kinda slow, compared to my 750. http://img67.exs.cx/img67/8865/bitch6xw.jpg http://img67.exs.cx/img67/6187/max28ue.jpg

Granny Done anything on your car? Not a whole lot, I put white gauge faces in, full Sony stereo system...chiped it, an APEXI N1 (I think N1 muffler) can't remember, bought it a long time ago all I know is its an APEXI the sametime I got the EREBUNI front skirt. Planned on the whole SR20 swap and 300ZX big break kit, but I got my gixxer and the car took a far second place in the garage. I am painting it in spring, and I want to buy this taillight kit for sure its on ebay for like $250  http://img170.exs.cx/img170/9901/8994240sxaltezzasample6ag.jpg

http://www.bikepics.com/members/k3zza/ heres my bikes :bike: I used to have an 1983 XL200R, it was my first bike. I just sold it this summer to get my GSXR, they are such amazing bikes. Mine sat in a barn for over 15 years, everything drained and was actually in a crate ready to be shipped. All I had to do was put oil and gas, new air cleaner (rats ate the old one) and a new plug and as soon as the gas got down into the motor it started first kick and always would. I sold it to a guy here where I work and he still rides it daily, always starting first kick. Such a fun bulletproof light bike.

GSR tranny is actually best for boost, its got a mix of long and short gears on it. And compression, i'd be suprised if he went with a 8.5:1 cause that thing would be a fucking dog, no, not a dog a pig before the turbo kicks in. Those cars have no torque to being with and are high reving. I'mgine going from a 10.0:1 compression to 8.5:! He's pushing a lot on the street, i wasn't planning on pumping more than 300 to the wheel horses with a greddy kit, with an upgraded TD05-20g turbo. Thats a shit load of power for a 2600 pound car. I'm impressed to see it on the street too. Looks clean as fuck, i just wanna know how he has it set up.

I would say 600 or even 700. Higher compression with a turbo is bad news, 8.5:1 is probably about what he has. If you are getting a 20g turbo you should plan on putting down more than 300 hp. If you only want 300hp why wouldn't you go a alot smaller? What kind of car do you have?

I think a stock supra's injectors are like 370 or some shit..i know its not 400...or maybe it is 440. Naw this was what i was planning back when i had my car. The stock greddy kit comes with a 15g, which is good for 220whp, you can get more if you really build it. A 20g isn't that big, i'm pretty sure its not as big as a t3/t4. As for compression wise...i knew for a fact i wan't going to take it down from 10.2:1 to 8.5:1, the thing would be a dog before the turbo kits in, not practical for street, not to mention, taking the with down compression, the turbo would take longer to kit in (on the stock greddy kit, 15g turbo it full spools at about 3400rpm on an b16a.)

Well I'm going by Mitsubishi standards I guess. I had 450's in my car which are stock. I just bought 780's which actually flow at 795-800. My injector duty on my 450's were 120% so I needed to upgrade. The mitsu 20g turbo can push out much more then the 20g turbo you are talking about then. I have a 14b which is a stock turbo for a 90-94 eclipse and it can push out about 300 and this thing is small. Oh yeah if anyone needs some 450 injectors mine will be coming out next week to put in the big boys!

But why do that when you can just upgrade the turbo. The TD05-20g they say is good for up to 500hp, after that you wanna think about an upgrade.

stock GSR compression is fine with a kit like Greddy....any larger and you'd have to lower it to about 9:1......and the LS tranny is BEST for boost...ALL Honda heads know that..............has a short 1st, 2nd, and the longest 5th.

The t-25 dropped off the map at about 5500 rpm's (I have a 97 Eclipse, that is the turbo i had). The 14b doesn't drop off at all (well at least right now at 18lbs of boost). It is a small turbo that is fully spooled at about 3000-3100 so it is decent. I will be upgrading to an EVO III 16G turbo which is good for 350-380 hp. I think 500hp for the 20g is a bit high, maybe 450 at most.

But i did say power on the T25 falls off at higher RPMs. I thought it was the same turbo thats in the EVO, which is what...a 16g? You can't squeeze 500 out of a T25, not the wheels. But you can run high boost with high compression, not on the stock internals. Lowering compression will give you more HP per psi, but the motor (power without the turbo) output will be less. So before the turbo kicks in, the car will have even less power than it did to begin with. Its all up to how you want to build it, some go with high compression/small turbo/boost, others go with low compression/big turbo/boost i like a little balance. The greddy kit just bolted on spools up pretty fast, like at 3400 i believe. Now upgrade the turbo, lower the compression, bigger downpipe, all those things you do to gain more power are going to make it spool up much much slower, so your pretty much relying on just the turbo to kick in for all your power. Greddy recommends running around 7psi with there kit, if you want to run it safely. After that you should definately build your motor.

The t-25 can hit 18lbs of boost and I have even heard of about 21psi on one, however, it will drop off at about 5500rpms down to about 14 psi. The 21psi I'm sure was for a split second and the 18 wasn't much longer but it can hold about 14 to redline which on my car is 7k. The t-25 is suppose to be good for about 250hp but I would guess a little less than that. The reason Mitsu went to the downgraded and went to the t-25 was because it spooled much quicker than the 14b so it was better for a daily driver for people that didn't care about power and boost. The t-25 runs 14 psi stock without an mbc. The Evos have a 16g in them.

12.2 is pretty fast  You must already have a nice chunk into the car. They're fast off the lot,but not like that! I've been through that before, you get to the point where you have all the "little" things then you have to decide what route to go for high end stuff. Then comes the dirty work - not with tools but with the checkbook. Keep us updated sweet ride.

Actually I don't have a chunk into it at all..Only mods are a turbo-back exhaust and a tune..Like I said, I'm just getting started..I've been drag racing AWD mitsubishis for a long time so my driving is playing a big part in the times as well.. 12.2 is pretty fast  You must already have a nice chunk into the car. You forgot something.....a Fart can tailpipe....LOL :infrandom No, that was included in full headerback exhaust. LOL. It's not the muffler that get's em it's the lack of a cat and the two resonators. Hey with the supercharger that exhaust free'd up 17.4 ponies on the dyno so I'm not upset. Hate if ya want. I fill up about every 5 days and have a 50 mile daily commute. Enjoy your near 6 liters of gas guzzling muscle. Bad ass truck though.
