Philly PA rider dead. 5/4/06

Sad to say but a crew member crashed thursday night... Forgot kids name, but there was like 20 bikes riding at night and there was few guys coming off of a highway too hot. doing prolly over 100 turn got too sharp and there was a minivan, kid hit the minivan and went head first into guardrail, cracked his helmet in 2. I was unable to ride that day, but alot of experienced riders that i ride with that saw the accident are still shoked. Anyway say some prayers for him, i'll find out his name later. Ride safe!

There are alot of people going down lately. Right now at this moment, a rider is alive that won't be next week........and it'll be posted in this forum......it could be one of us, or one of our friends. Let's all please remember to use common sense when riding and not be too much of a daredevil.......no one is invincible........and PLEASE PLEASE tell all your friends to ride safe. Just sit down with your buddies and have a talk about safety. Make it part of your discussion EVERY TIME before you go out riding.......if you put it out there, it will make a difference. Hate to preach, but most of you know I'm a Police Officer.........it really really sucks to go to accidents invoving people on streetbikes.....they're usually seriously injured or dead. I look at fellow riders like brothers and it's the hardest part of my job to be there when it goes bad. I think about it every time I go out riding. Hey I love to get on the gas.......it's a rush and I understand it.............but know when to do it :) , and when not to :headshake .........ok I'm done ranting.

Sorry to hear that, but going 100 into a turn? We need to be more cautious when we ride. God bless him and his family.

Point well taken. A lot of postings lately about riders going down. If talking of safety to friends saves at least one life, that one life could be a friend or one of us. Talk has to start somewhere. May God watch over the family and guide them thru this hardship. May he RIP.
