JFM GSXR 750 05-07-2006, 04:28 PM Another excellant weekend of riding. Both days turned out to be on the money.
Smaller group of 6 on sat but fun never the less. Easier to keep track.
Sunday all the big boys were out, some hard riding thru some sick ass twisties. About 12 of us.
Next sunday is Mothers day so I am on lock down. So, there is only sat.......again! Hope the weather is nice. Looking forward to seeing you guys then!
blue02celi 05-27-2006, 09:36 PM well its about time i met up with you guys, althought I dont remember almost anyones name, too many peoples names all at once, but I remember the screen names lol
have fun tomorrow I gotta get workin on my bike
JFM GSXR 750 05-28-2006, 06:07 PM Well, well, well.............we have been lucky so far but I guess your luck runs out sooner or later. We had 2 members go down today. They both are alright thank goodness. You can always get another bike but you have only one BODY!!! ;) I think we were 15-16 deep. Always hard keeping a group of that size together. Heliguy went down on Perkins drive (Bear Mountain) around 10am or so. WE all rode over there to help out. Broken clip on, Tullock rode his bike to Alstare's house with the rest of us following. WE finally are on the road again hitting the mountain (9w storm king) and 1Sictrigger goes down on one of those sick turns. His damage was more severe, we had to pick his bike off of the road. He got an ambulance ride to the hospital. He hit the guard rail an ended in the middle of the road. When you can get up and walk away from a crash like that, the Lord is looking out for you. He could have easily went over the guard rale, where there is a 60-70 foot drop. :headshake We called it a day after that.................
paul11273 05-28-2006, 07:26 PM No kidding. After two spills, we all had seen enough. Even though we call it a day at that point, there is still high mileage for us to cover in order to get home.
The weather was BEAUTIFUL today, so it was a great day to be out. Thank goodness those guys are ok. I hope they both post up soon so we can stay in touch and know that all is well. I agree, bikes can be fixed, bodies are alot tougher.
killa 05-28-2006, 07:55 PM spoke with both of em heli and trigger, both are ok. Heli, I am meeting him tommorrow to give him a clip on, get him up and running again!! Trigger- he gonna need some work, but he's ok!
Allstare- i need directions to your house!! PM me the address.
Paul & Tara -you shouldn't have, but thanx! glad to see you guys got home OK. and thanx again.
my vids are gonna be short this week, the way home was a nice cruise after the morning. I gotta post pics of the wreck.
FRIDAY Island Dragway - NJ who's coming!!!!

Shoein 05-28-2006, 08:14 PM Mike checking in...made it home safe and sound. Andy and Carlos i hope you guys are doing ok. Its a shame that had to happen but hey that what happens when you actually ride your bike i guess.
Otherwise the ride was fun as usual. Good to meet up with you guys again. Should be a good riding season

have a good night everybody and sweet dreams ;)
killa 05-29-2006, 06:13 PM you guys do not need a back protector for Island dragway.
Only Pocono. The leather's we have are perfect!!
Over 120mph on the 1/4 you need pants.
750's maybe, 1000's yes.
If you have leather pants wear em.
Leather jacket is a must.
Over ankle boots, leather gloves, and the kill switch tether,
i posted pics of it last week in this thread, a couple pages back.
Helmet is optional, yeah right! :laughingr
I will post a link to to the dragstrip's website tommorrow.
I will check prices and times, and we will set a meeting time.
Remember my son hurt his ankle on the trampoline, yeah broken in 2 places.
it was huge today, so we took him to the hospital. Cast maybe coming.
No dirt bike riding for a while for him. he's pissed!!! No school for 3 days, he's happy about that.
Tara- cover the back brake, ask paul he saw me 12 and slam it down, i needed some toilet paper after that. :laughingr
Paul-Clinton rd anytime. but there's more!
Shoein- wednesday paul and tara maybe to, they want to go to Motorcycle madness and hit some twisties. I am gonna call them tommorow.

paul11273 05-29-2006, 06:29 PM BROKEN IN TWO PLACES!!!???
That kid didn't ever want to stop playing! He was still trying to stunt his bike after the trampoline! I think he is ready for the NFL, because he ain't gonna quit. And only 3 days off school for a broken ankle? I think he deserves more than that, if for no other reason, just being so damn tough!!!
Seriously though, I hope he is OK. Rest is the key to healing, and I know it is not easy to keep him off his feet. Let him fire up the Xbox for awhile, because he will heal quickly and get back out there into the air and sun that much quicker.
WOW! I still can't believe it.
1SicTrigger 05-29-2006, 07:19 PM Damn, i'm sorry to hear that TULLOCK.But i bet the kids thrilled about the no-school..
Did you get a chance to take pic's of my wreck bike.Just been wondering all day how the fuck it looks.Am expecting worse..
:drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

was that before or after he slid around the corner in front of the bikes?
he'll be ok, he wasnt letting anything hold him down that day. wait a few years, he'll be the one doin the wheelies down the street and he'll stretch that burnout dad left in front of the house
killa 05-30-2006, 04:06 AM not my son, he will be the perfect angel, speed limit, and always telling others how his father always told him to ride slow and obey the law! :laughingr :laughingr :laughingr
He broke his ankle i think before he got on the bike and slid around the corner.
can't remember what order it happened in.
Paul- u think he's tough, o boy - wait for his sister!! She's my Pitbull!
Trigger- getting the pics up now! another 30 minutes.

Shoein 05-30-2006, 06:50 AM Wednesday it is! We'll hit up Motorcylce Madness then take a nice 2 hour ride around here. I'll try to plan a decent route. The roads aren't as nice as the ones we hit in New York but there definitely still fun.
JFM GSXR 750 05-30-2006, 06:57 AM Tullock, your son broke his ankle in 2 places? I heard him screaming on the tramoline. But he was riding his bike and popping wheelies and skidding all over the place after that. Ah to be young again...........Hope he heals soon! Me and the misses take turns taking the kids to the emergency room. I think it is my turn next. :headshake

For the new guys, I usually meet Tullock and his crew at the Woodbury Exxon. That is exit 16 on the NYS thruway, Woodbury/Harriman exit. Once you pay that toll get off the highway and make a left at the light. The Exxon will be on the right side of the road. I will be there at 9:30am.
WE will meet the rest of the guys at the Peekskill circle Mobil gas station at 10am. The weather is supposed to be cloudy and NO RAIN.

Yeah man you are way out there, 60+ on the LIE is a trek. You would have to spend the nite at a hotel or something.
Looking forward to a nice run tomorrow full of twisties! For all the new guys coming out tomorrow, please take it easy. Ride at your own pace and enjoy. WE don't want a repeat of last week. :headshake
See you guys in the AM!!! :arsenal

Yes that route, 44/55 is best done a nice clear day. It took us forever in the on and off showers. I think that route takes well over a hour when it aint raining. The pilot powers did stick pretty good on the wet roads. Of course the weather was much better on the way back. Only hit showers for maybe 5 minutes. Of course Big John finally made it to the joint to EAT!!! My bike looks like I went ridng in the dirt. :headshake
Shoein 06-05-2006, 12:43 PM Chris - how are those videos coming along?

paul11273 06-10-2006, 07:26 AM Tullock - that sucks about last night. The weather was iffy at best here all night long. Cloudy-clear-cloudy-clear again...
Pics from the Bahamas, you are all gonna have to wait. Somebody (not me) forgot the digital camera, so all pics are on disposables, which are not done yet. We will probably kill them on the ride tomorrow, then get them developed. Be patient. Besides, we didn't really take too many pics, we were too busy doing stuff and enjoying everything to think about stopping and taking pics.
Can't wait to see all you guys tomorrow for some riding. I think it is going to be a great day.
killa 06-10-2006, 10:48 AM $50 to the first person who know's who left the digital camera!
3 guess's and the first 2 don't count. haha
see everybody tommorrow.

The second most posting in this region, as of today......can anyone guess....?

JFM GSXR 750 06-13-2006, 07:47 AM I have been out of the office and away from any computer since last thurs.......MOVING................but still in the area......
I just thought of a name for our group............THE CRASH CREW!!!!
Fellas, I told you we hit some sick ass twisties!!! These roads will bite you in the ass if you take it too hot in the turns. Don't worry about keeping up, ride at a pace you are comfortable with and enjoy. Better to finish last than to crash and ruin your ride and your ASS!!! That route 55 has some rough spots and crazy ass turns that are NOT marked! There was plenty of more turns coming up that caused our boys to hit the concrete, dirt, grass, mud etc. I want us all to have a goodtime and enjoy the twisties. 2 hospital runs in 3 weeks is no fun.
Heel up Dustee, I am sure you will be back out there this season.
Who let that CBR guy in here???? :headscrat :infrandom I guess the HONDA sites suck! :arsenal Well, since he is my neighbor, I guess we may let him stay.
SORE after riding, you guys need to hit the GYM!
CBRfanatic 06-13-2006, 08:14 AM yes, the almighty rt55
as for me, im only here cuz of you nice guys, and im here in my SPARE time from the almighty honda site :bounce becuase i love you guys ;) , dont forget, the top three guys were 2 honda cbr1000rr's  , and fast ass G on that gsxr ;)
i didnt include the director since he was on traffic duty on sunday, lolThat route 55 has some rough spots and crazy ass turns that are NOT marked! There was plenty of more turns coming up that caused our boys to hit the concrete, dirt, grass, mud etc. Who let that CBR guy in here???? :headscrat :infrandom I guess the HONDA sites suck! :arsenal Well, since he is my neighbor, I guess we may let him stay.
killa 06-13-2006, 08:40 AM as you will see from my vids, when i get them up here, is jj, i was doing trafic duty and blowing by that red ass honda, got to do the traffic thing, keep everybody together!! try to at least.
Man i miss home already, thinking about next weekend.
Paul and Tara, anytime! just let me know!! Maybe you guys will have to leave sleeping clothes at my crib, no more backpacks makes things easier!
JJ- we all know that honda site sucks! no more bs! :laughingr
hopefully we are the best group on the site, we all like to ride, and i have been with people who like to smell the roses more that ride. F that!!

Executor 06-13-2006, 09:19 AM Sup guys i just finished posting up on there other gixxer site and started a thread there for our sunday rides. i dont know if anyone from that site is coming but we'll see. i always see threads bout bear mt, storm king 9w, and 301. so it should make sense for them to hit us up. I also saw triggers(carlos) thread bout his bike and accident. I posted up the pics taken this weekend over there as well. you guys can check it out. its on the northeast region.
G03ixxer6 06-13-2006, 09:33 AM well yeaaaa my bike got stolen this morning so if anyone in the bronx sees a bike like mine kill the mother...or just let me know where the hell it is thanks
Executor 06-13-2006, 09:37 AM yeah i've read on the other thread. sorry to hear that man. if i see it i'll give em a whoopin. most likely i probably wont even get a chance too.
blue02celi 06-13-2006, 11:40 AM well my stand should be in thursday got the trackin # from fedex... now, I need to get a rotor but I called the shops around here and they say its gonna take 5 days to get one in, I dont want to wait that long but I cant get it till thursday (payday) I have my military motorcycle safety class next monday & tuesday and need to get it fixed this weekend. anyone know where I can get a rotor for a 03 600 same day? or where I can get it shipped next day. its the left front rotor (if your sitting on the bike)
paul11273 06-13-2006, 05:14 PM Celi - Did you call all the shops you could find, on LI, Brooklyn, NJ etc.? Seriously, sometimes it just takes some persistance. I think that if you call all over, you will find one.
Tell you what, if you do, I will pick it up for you, float you the cash, and get it to you. Pay me back when you can. I know what it is like to live on a military paycheck. Do the leg work to find one, tell them to hold it, and let me know. I will PM you my cell number.
paul11273 06-13-2006, 05:18 PM G - What other gixxer site are you talking about? I want to check it out.
mellowyellow 06-13-2006, 06:14 PM gixxer.com?
Winston - its cool bro, i just waited for the rest of the guys and asked them if they wanted to split cars too. Traffic was backed up like crazy.

Executor 06-13-2006, 09:55 PM G - What other gixxer site are you talking about? I want to check it out.
gixxer.com?
Yeeeeeeeaaa Yea!!! what dee said.
paul11273 06-14-2006, 05:27 AM Shoein - Where did you find that helmet? Is it in Motorcycle Madness, up by you guys? You know, Tara is in the market for a new helmet, and we have been trying to get up there to check out their selection so she can try on a bunch. You better hurry and put up the money before she sees it and buys it first! I have known her to spend a dollar or two, so watch out!
On a serious note, I have to agree with JFM. We are not GP racers, there is no prize money, and we are certainly not in a controlled environment. Everyone is out there to have FUN, this is a hobby. A little more expensive than building plastic models, and a HELL of a lot more dangerous.
I have a couple of tips that apply when a rider is new or s/he doesn't know the roads...
1. Try to follow someone who does know the road, someone you can trust. It is always easier to follow than lead. You can match that persons speed (within reason and your own ability level), and have confidence that it is doable. This will allow you to increase your skill level, but do it gradually. Just because you are following does not mean you should try to match that person 100% and ride over your skill level.
2. SLOW DOWN...enter at a known safe speed. You can then roll on the throttle through the corner and accelerate out hard. I personally think that is more fun anyway. Much more fun than getting in too hot, panicking, breaking too hard and, well.... you know the rest.
3. SPACE OUT...we all like to see one another while we are riding, hence the point of group vs. solo rides. But we all have to maintain a safe distance. I have seen before, and this weekend too, the domino effect. A rider goes down, for whatever reason, and there is either a scramble to avoid that person, or lots of panicking because they were all following him in too fast. Don't be like the heard of buffalo that would all run off the cliff because the lead buffalo did.
4. ASK QUESTIONS...there are plenty of talented and experienced riders in this group. If you are unsure of something, ASK. This goes for anything. Ask about the roads we are about to ride (are they tight corner, high speed sweepers, smooth, gravely, lots of hot women to distract your attention to the side of the road :D ...you laugh, but I have had friends go down or rear end a car...that is serious) to questions about riding skills, and how you can improve your riding.
5. I am not going to jump on the bandwagon about MSF courses, but I have done 3 myself, and I made Tara go to one too. She didn't want to at first, but she did come away from the class a little wiser. They go over lots of stuff that seems like common sense after it's been said. In a panic situation, you need to have these "common sense" items ingrained in your brain so they are automatic. MSF courses are one way to acquire this knowledge. They will especially improve your reactions and awareness when riding in traffic. Lets face it, most of us only hit the fun stuff on the weekends, and most of our riding is in an urban or city environment. I am much more afraid of the idiots behind the wheels of these 3000+ lb vehicles than I am of some country road.
If anyone has anything to add to my points, please do so. If anyone disagrees with something I have said, by all means, shut the hell up. No, just kidding...please let me know if you disagree with anything I may have stated above. By opening a discussion, we will all learn more, become better (and safer) riders, and be able to enjoy this sport more fully.
aznthug22 06-14-2006, 07:13 AM gixxer.com?
Winston - its cool bro, i just waited for the rest of the guys and asked them if they wanted to split cars too. Traffic was backed up like crazy.
YEA THE TRAFFIC WAS CRAZY I DON'T KNOW WHY THOUGH BECAUSE AS I KEPT GOING I THOUGHT FOR SURE I WOULD SEE LIKE A BIG ACCIDENT OR SOMETHING BUT THERE WAS NOTHING .... I DON'T KNOW WHERE ALL THOSE CARS WERE GOING
aznthug22 06-14-2006, 07:22 AM Yea Like Paul Said We Should Just Take It Easy And Ride At The Pace We Can Maintain .... We Are Not Out There Racing Or Trying To Impress One Another By Keeping Up With The More Experienced And Faster Riders .... Everyone Out There Is Just To Have A Fun Time And Learn To Be A Better Rider .... Going To The Hospital 2 Weeks In A Row Is Not Fun And Seeing One Of Our Buddies Hurt Is Not Fun At All Either ..... Although No One Was Like Seriously Hurt Thank God We Don't Want To See Anyone In A Hospital At All
killa 06-14-2006, 09:06 AM i agree with paul!!!
i had the wife ready to coming with this weekend,
and 2 hospital trips and that's all it takes.
she doesn't want to see shit like that
she is just learning to ride and might turn her off to riding.
that i can't have!
Let's all cool out, even myself, because i don't know the roads
and god knows i have a problem keeping that thing going slow.

even though you dont know the roads your good enough to navigate them with ease, i seen it myself. some of the roads we went on i had been on before but not remembered them, and you looked like you knew them like the back of your hand, so i stayed on ya so you could tow me through, but it turned out you didnt know them either! your a damn good rider  and i wouldnt mind following you into roads i never been on.
As for pauls comment, you are 100% right, i cant even tell you how many people go down around here from either trying to keep up, or just be the cool "fast" guy, were all in a group just to ride together and make it easier and safer for one another to better our skill, thats why we wait for everyone to catch up before we turn onto another road, i think next time we go out if we have a group that size again, we need to have more space between riders when things get twisty.
And CT, im picking up a camera this week, you think you could pump out a bracket for me?
CBRfanatic 06-14-2006, 09:38 AM I think i found my new helmet...now who wants to buy it for me? :D Its only $500 on ebay
http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSProfiles/42000071/Images/3/02-141__3.JPG
It is really nice looking though. The whole helmet is metallic, covered in flakes. A better picture would show you...
i had that helmet before that bitch in the navigator ran me over, its a nice helmet, just try it on before you buy because shoei has weird sizes between their dif models, also its noisey so pick up some earplugs and it gets turbulent at high speeds if you dont full tuck.
killa 06-14-2006, 12:49 PM yo honda guy, jj i got a bracket for ya, no problem.
Bring it sunday, o shit fathers day.
JFM- maybe we start late sunday, have to do the papa's day stuff in the morning. I think you to, and maybe some other's.
ct
Shoein 06-14-2006, 01:11 PM Paul - That picture was from an E-bay auction but Motorcycle Madness has a pretty good selection of lids...and I totally agree with your post! Well said. I usually try to follow, keep my distance and make sure i'm single file going through turns and staggered on the straights
I know i've said this tons before but my brother said he might come out on Sunday. If we're starting later there is an even better chance.

paul11273 06-14-2006, 06:51 PM Ok, later on Sunday should be no problem. Let us know. What about doing Saturday instead? Would that be better for everyone as a group?
Shoein - I am starting to think that your brother does not really exist. He is some sort of alter ego for you, one which you use to commute between two completely different riding groups. You ride with the GSXR's in the morning, then the Kawi's at night. Am I right? Come on!!! You can tell me...
Also, Tara really likes that helmet, and she is playing with me right now. Gotta go. Will finish posting tomorrow.

paul11273 06-15-2006, 06:22 PM G is the perfect example of how you don't have to ride a big bike to go fast.
Yeah Baby!!!
I am looking forward to Sunday. Maybe we can actually complete 44/55? Can we try?

LOL......  thnx for the complements/props but i have improved my riding skills alot because of ALL YOU GUYS   . I read all types of magazines books and watch dvd to learn how to ride better. When i ride i practice what i have read. Also helps that you guys give me alot of informative and constructive criticisms. I always welcome anyone who is willing to teach me how to improve my riding skills like tullock teaching me how to approach a turn and that a bike can lean more than you think it can & Paul telling me to always look further ahead & JFM telling me to ride my pace. I am now trying to teach my buddies who came with us in taking a nice turn and have a good line to take those turns.

it was my first time out with your guys and riding like that since i got run over, im just getting back into the groove, you already see how much improved i am since last season, that you cannot deny, the season is young and i have yet to unleash the dragon ;) plus why must i compete on the street when i know i hold my own on the trizz-ack? ;) G is fast, but your an instigator ;)
As for G, you are fast, in the end we will only make eachother better.
killa 06-16-2006, 05:38 AM jj- the only reason i did that was to start shit on here! We are all good riders, and yeah you have improved. This is not competition, and i like bustin balls, so don't take offense. It's all in good fun.
I am sure when you get your cam, i will be the butt of some of your videos

paul11273 06-17-2006, 03:23 PM So who is in for tomorrow? We are on the fence as to whether or not to ride tomorrow. I have to tell you that I am sore from yesterday, and not sure how I will feel on the bike tomorrow. Plus, we seem to have some Father's day stuff to do too. Is this weekend going to be a bust?
Also remember that we have a HELL of a long trip to make it up to you guys and back. Maybe better if we sit out tomorrow?

Shoein 06-17-2006, 06:32 PM The track was awesome i can't wait till next week. I know i'll improve my time if only by a few tenths. I just need more practice with my launch. After we left the track i went to one of my friends house. They were hanging out. I had a few beers and went to sleep. I woke up and i could barely move my back had horrible pain in it. Someone jumped on me while i was sleeping. I could even stand straight. I went to the emergency room and they took an x-ray my spine look like an S. The doctor said all the discs are ok its just that some of my muscles flared up. So i'm on some pain meds and anti-inflammatories. These pills are really helping but man that was probably some of worst pain i ever had! I wish you could have seen the x-rays they looked pretty messed up. So i won't be riding tomorrow. I'll see you all either Friday or Sunday! :bike:
Tara - that helmet is awesome! I take it you liked M.M.? :D
Cliffnotes - Track was good, hurt my back, see you next week
paul11273 06-17-2006, 07:17 PM Someone jumped on you while you were sleeping? And it didn't wake you up at that moment? After a few beers? My friend, that is called passed out! :laughingr
Seriously though, I hope your back is ok. It can be a pretty hard thing to recover from sometimes. You may have to baby it for quite awhile before you are 100% again.
And find new friends to party with. That just ain't cool.

CBRfanatic 06-20-2006, 09:29 PM aww man, you wont fuggin' believe this, somebody sideswipped me today at about 9pm-ish and busted up my mid plastic on the right side and busted up my proton flush mount!!!! and the person kept fuckn drivin! i was knocked of the bike and rolled a bit, by the time i got up, the car was long gone. the bike leaked some coolant, only due to the rubber neck hose came a little loose. i guess ill ride with it rashed for now, but i am sooo pissed, i need to get this fixed asap but dont have the liquid cash laying around, this really bums me out, i dont know if ill come out sunday now....

Stage 2 (Left) Stage 2 (Right)
Yellow 1 Yellow 1 }
Yellow 2 Yellow 2 }} These all light at the same time. Leave when
Yellow 3 Yellow 3 } you see these turn on.
Green 1 Green 1
One thing when leaving on yellow.. if you do it as soon as you see the yellow, you won't redlight (which is a foul). Just watch out and do anticipate it, meaning going before it does actually turn yellow (I've done this enough times).
You will notice you will probably be leaving before the other guy who is waiting for the green.
Depending on your track and how open they are. If you are going to hit over 120 mph in the quarter mile, you are required to wear leathers or drag pants. You might call before you go and see what their requirements are.
Hope this helps!!

Ooooh Man...I can't believe she got up...
paul11273 06-21-2006, 09:33 AM JJ - I feel for ya.
Sunday, Tara went to uncover my bike and noticed the cover was torn. Once she took the cover off, she saw my tail light broken, and rear cowl all twisted up, then came to get me.
It looks like someone knocked the bike down, then picked it up again, and didn't say anything to me about it. I have a busted tail light, rear cowl looks like someone took a pliers to it above the light, the crank case cover is scratched, and my clutch lever is broken.
Now, the crazy lady that lives upstairs from me hangs laundry where I park my bike. She will not admit to knocking it over. I brought this up with the landlord, and he basically told me that if she don't admit to it, then I am ass out. I am currently trying to persuade him that he should assume some of the liability since it happened on his property.
I priced the parts, and looks like I can get it all replaced for right about $500.
I hate people. :2hard
killa 06-21-2006, 09:42 AM jj & paul that sucks
jj - always be defensive, especially when on the offensive!! Got to think what they are goning to do ahead of them!
paul - that's crazy, i think something would fall from heaven on to her windshield, and if i don't admit it, is it the same thing?? If i lived there, know what i mean! I am bad - eye for an eye!!!! Freakin people!
That takes balls - do you live in a complex or a house??
ct
paul11273 06-21-2006, 10:09 AM Don't worry. I got ya. If someone pokes me in the eye, I tend to gouge out theirs. Depending on how the landlord handles this with me will decide how many eyes I poke out with a stick.
I live in the downstairs of a house. The landlord lives on the main floor, and this crazy lady lives in the upstairs. This is only a legal 2 family. The downstairs that I have is essentially an apartment that he made in order to rent out. So legally, I got him by the balls right there. I think he started to realize that after our first disargreement on how to handle this situation. Then he spoke to me later that night, and wanted to see what it would cost, but didn't commit to anything. Well, I got prices from 4 different distributors, and gave it to him this morning. Now I am waiting to see what he thinks he wants to do.
The bike is completely rideable. The only thing I am worried about is passing tech on Friday night, because the tail light's red plastic cover is broken. It is all there, but cracked up. Maybe I should hit it some clear tape. That way if they notice it, I can atleast show him it is not going to fall apart on the track.
killa 06-21-2006, 10:25 AM Paul i got a couple tailights from GSXR's and other pion bikes, i will bring one over far ya, i am just not sure if the mount holes will be the same. But i am sure we can make it work.
Shit i am mounting jay's kawi 636 tailight in my GSXR. It fits perfect when you flip it upsidedown + it's LED and intergrated!! Jay got one off some site with different color LED's. I got his brother's R6 tailight mounted on my YFZ450LE qaud. We can make anything work!!

JFM GSXR 750 06-21-2006, 11:22 AM Damn, sorry to hear that JJ & Paul. :headshake
JJ, I think all those cars you passed on the road are out to get you. This is twice in less than a year! I am either gonna be way ahead of you when we ride or way behind!
Paul, you should get a rear stand for you bike. Then you won't have to worry about accidental tip overs. I got one years ago for my bikes, had too. My kids are in and out of the garages all the time with their bikes and stuff. I could see them knocking it over and LEAVING IT THERE. "Not me" would have knocked it over. I need them for a tax deduction so I invested in rear stands.
Shoein 06-21-2006, 09:32 PM Chris after i got done talking to you i took that route i was talking about. It takes about an hour and a half at a good pace. Warm up with Beaver Run then about a 10-15 rides to the next set of twisties. It gets fun then, good turns and actually kind of scenic (You just have to ignore the smell of cow shit a couple of times :funny:)
I did that run and just got back from a run with my brother. Yes he does exist! He is just a creature of the night! Got about 4 solid hours of riding in today. I need new brakes... :hmmm:
Almost at 9k miles
paul11273 06-21-2006, 09:36 PM You suck. Tara says it is not fair that you can just go out and ride great roads. I have to agree. I think you should wait till the weekend, like we have to do. Then you will appreciate it more
Shoein 06-22-2006, 03:24 AM Paul, i think you and Tara should just join us out here in Jersey http://www.lsall.com/forums/images/smilies/nj.gif http://www.lsall.com/forums/images/smilies/yup.gif
I hope the next i see all you guys you can recognize me. My head got into a fight with some hairclippers http://www.lsall.com/forums/images/smilies/wall.gif I'm bald! I look like i'm about to be shipped off to basic! One less thing to worry about i guess http://www.lsall.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif
killa 06-22-2006, 06:28 AM I guess i won't post the link to the video from yesterday!
Paul and Tara are gettin a little jealous- nobody told you guys to live out there on the Island. we hit your favorite so far Paul - Clinton rd.
Mike- i went out to, with Jay and John- my steering dampner came loose again, time for locktight! We had a good short run, bout an hour. 638-515-over the mountain to clinton rd, up 23, 515, to 638 to home! I think it was only about 40 minutes of riding, 20 minutes to fix the dampner on the side of the road!
Looks like t-storms for tommorrow night!

JFM GSXR 750 06-22-2006, 06:45 AM Paul & Tara, I agree with Mike, you need to move off of SI. Go to northern NJ or better the Hudson valley. Land of the twisties!!! Hurry before the prices go up any further.
