AAAAAAAAAAARGGG Hampton roads is just another name for the area from VA beach to Newport News. I know of a logging road that is dead of traffic on the weekends. I'll have to do some digging for directions, but try to find some country roads in between richmond and williamsburg there are a ton of them, just keep track of where you are and try not get lost.

Yeah i have ridden hwy 5 but if you want to get a knee down on the twisties through there you would need to be traveling about a buck 40, and thats not much fun.

Damn trixxer, you hit route 5 on the head. Yeah you would have to be really flyin to get a knee down out there. Just rode out there yesterday to rt. 106. 106 has a beautiful straight, even, smooth part about 3/4 of a mile long that we used to drag race on when I was in my early twenties. I go out 5 every once in a while just to let her rip on 106. As far as twisties, yeah, your just going to have to stick to back roads and be careful as shit around Richmond. Not really any good twisty roads around the Richmond metro area.

I will be moving to norfolk area this summer.. Cant wait to ride there. It will be a bit different than sunny San Diego. From what my buddy tells me, the cops kinda frown on spitting lanes when in traffic or waiting for a stoplight. Oh well. See you guys on the road. Matt
