05-15-2006, 02:41 PM
im ten minutes west of yorkville down rt 71. if you have ridden at starved rock in ottawa, you probably went through newark. i bought one of their "flawed" ones from ebay. black, two strips of leds on each side. there are no load resistors and it showed that you have to shave the trunk for it to fit. i have a few other parts to install as well. i was going to take one day and do it all. i will pm you next time im up that way.

FiReBReTHa
05-15-2006, 02:56 PM
yep, you got the same one as me. haven't been out that way, I dont know if I am going to get load resistors, Most likely I am going to use a napa 552 Electronic flasher relay and hardwire it in. What else ya got to isntall?! Btw did you get a rear hugger? I found out without one its going to chuck crap up at your shiny new undertail. -Rick

last fall i had a flat and had to trailer the bike. tie down broke=bike fell over. tank came today, upper fairing has a small crack(might replace), puig db dk smoke, probably going with devil high mount. as far as the hugger goes, it pretty much only protects the shock. i have yet to decide if i want one. how much is that napa part? dan

Yarrggg! i saw on CR that you are going with earache... he does good work... plan on having him pc my rear sets/pegs/levers next winter undertail and rear hugger are waiting until then too so she's all done for this year so i can ride her without worrying about taking her apart

Yea, I really look forward to having him do mine, remember to pull your bracket from your brake fluid resevoir and see about throwing that in there too. I need to get mine done sooner so I can do my LED pegs.

How much did you pay for your undertail? I was thinking about picking up the hotbodies for 180. If you are willing to help install, I can fullfill any necessary beer requirements.

I was in Russia and my intrerperter said I was from Illinois and the two guys I was talking to both looked confused. He then said "Chicago". One guy then smiled and said "Ahhh Al Capone, BANG BANG"

thx much. only tactical thing is getting the undertail kit, myself and the bike to aurora hehe, maybe I can bungee the tail to my back. actually, already thought about it, it should be perfect in a backpack, did you undertail kit comes with resistors to fix the blinker speed? If not we gots to pickup a new flasher relay and hardwire that in. (did that yesterday, cost $3)
