The campaign they are run is for seat belts not speeding tickets, it is called CLICK IT OR TICKET it running from 5-22 to 6-4, I got stopped last year when they did this. Here is a article on it click it or ticket (http://www.state.nj.us/oag/hts/clickitorticket.html)

false... they cannot, and do not have quotas They do not have QUOTAS but they do. I know two Staties and four local cops and the Staties definitely are told to go out at write tickets or get comments when they ARE NOT writting tickets. They may not be told to write 100 tickets in a day, but they here crap when they are not as well as they are told to pick up enforcement. Not a quota per se, but you get the idea

I think there is always a ticket blitz in NJ. I was always getting pulled over on a regular when I lived in NJ. :2hard Most of the time it was by more than one car :headscrat!!! And always for BS reasons, you fit the description or hanging air freshener, or liscense plate cover, or looks like a light is out etc. :wtf: :damn: I hate driving thru NJ, I try to be on my best behavior.
