I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my bike. Most likely I'll get a slip on becasue of the expense, but will consider full systems if I can find a fair deal. I'm open to used or new, but if it's used, it must be in perfect shape. I'm thinking Yosh or Akrap in Titan or Carbon, no Stainless. My bike is a 02' gsxr1000 blu/wht.
Question: I know with a full system installed, the bike needs to be remapped, correct? Is the same also true when a slip on is used? How much does that usually cost? Thanks.

technically yes the bike still needs to be remapped, it doesn't have to put if your gonna spend your money, spend it right and get full H.P. and throttle response, mapping usually runs between 150-250$ and remember you have a 1k, your headers are about as good as it gets. :thumbup:
