1SicTrigger 05-29-2006, 03:49 PM Before i say anything else, i wanna thank u all for your show support.Imeans alot.Like it was stated before it was a blast.Couldn't ask for a nicer Day.After we met up,we rode to meet with another group.Where 1 of guys slipped and broke a clip-on ,i believe tullock the bike back for him.
Anyway, after that we were able to hit up some twisties on 9w.And thats where the "drama" started. After waiting all day. :D We started hitting some twisties at decent speeds 80-90mph and one or two at triple digits. But as i approach this one particular turn it kept sweeping more then i anticipated ( no excuses just not familiar with it).I must have been in the 100-110 range when i noticed entering the turn that i was too Hot(unda-statement) and my line was off.So as the bike is drifting towards the guard-rail(mine you with a "NOT" so purty fall). My first reaction is to look through the turn but being that i'm coming too fast,My survival instincts are hit the brakes.Cause at this point i'm about 4-5 feet away from the rail and approaching closer every milli-second.Once the front brakes bite down i went over the bike slammed into ther guardail with my "traps"(between my head and shoulders) AND broke my collarbone and right thumb. Believe it or not, no road rash not a scrap.I think that slowing down the bike as much as i did saved alot more pain.Cause from the looks of the gear their was not much damage but a 6 inch tear on the sleeve, gloves are still in one piece, jeans did not tear at all.WEIRD SHIT.Ithink ppl that were there, could atest to that. Will post pic of the gear when i get around to it.As for the bike i cant same much cause i was not able too get a good look at it cause i was pre-occupy :thefinger .The ppl. their could tell u more.
Overall, it was a great ride.Imust say again that all those that were their showed mad-love, which i really appreciate. And whether you ride slow and steady or fast and heavy.............Always ride with gear................ONE
JFM GSXR 750 05-29-2006, 04:46 PM How the hell did you get seen so fast at the Cornwall hospital? I live 10 minutes away and I have made many trips there. And it never fails, I am in there for over 3 hours. No matter how many people are there. :headscrat
If you didn't know, you bent the guard rail with that impact. Looking at the bike, your injuries were minor. The front end is destroyed. Front rim is crazy bent, front tire is ripped to shreads. I am sure the forks are toast. We couldn't move it, we had to pick it up and carry it off of the road. I will say again, thank GOD you were able to get up and walk away from that.   Yes snake mountain 9w is tricky, even though it is 2 lanes some of the turns are very tight and blind. You never know what is waiting around the corner for ya, that makes it fun and dangerous. I live 3 minutes away and ride it all the time. I know where your bike is, Mickey Biggs on route 32. I will stop in on friday and check it out. I hope you heal soon!!!
1SicTrigger 05-29-2006, 07:09 PM I guess my luck contiued at the hospital cause i was seen pretty much immediatly.I'm try my best to get someone from around my way too give me a hand and get the bike wed.or thurs.I tried calling them today(tow comp.) but they were close.Justr wanna get an idea on the towing charges and storage fee's.Yeah, i did hear the front took an ASS WHIPPING.

My wife's bike was totalled! i will post some pics later. Yours aint totalled, at least not by looking at it Sunday. Shoein 05-30-2006, 06:42 AM Yea, that was pretty scary when i was coming around the turn...all i saw was you standing up waving your arms and the bike on the ground with cars stopped in front of you. That was the last thing i was expecting to see. Luckily it wasn't any worse than what happened especially at the speeds we were hitting.
JFM GSXR 750 05-30-2006, 07:09 AM Sorry Andy, I guess I got everybody started when I flew up that first hill doing over 100. I slow up and BAM..........a bunch of bikes are flying past me!! Oh well they got the jump on me now, I will just cruise the rest of the way. I was hitting that last hill around 90 a few seconds behind Mike (Shoein) and I see 2 cars stopped and a bike in the middle of the road. OH SHIT, I hope that is not one of our guys. :wtf:
Hey we ALL have been down one time or another, getting up and back on the bike is what it is all about. I am sure you will be back out there soon!!!

Well i didnt get treated till after you guys left.Iwas only waiting to take Xray's when you guys came around. Its actually a broken clavicle?(spelling), which is at the intersection of your shouylder joint and collarbone.Doctor says its a common injury and theres nothing they could do, but put you in a sling and send you home.oh did i mention with some good pain killers! :bounce Its actually not as bad as it sounds. As soon as i figure how too put these damn large Xray pic i wil post them. :twofinger

killa 06-01-2006, 07:03 AM JFM - i think he will be healed up before the bike is ready to go.
He was using the arm yesterday. Not a lot, but definetly will need a week or 2. The bike, not that bad, just what he described! Should take a couple weeks for him, but i am gonna look for some parts for him.
Good luck fixin it trigger, need help just ask in the tech area or shoot me an email or you got my #'s.
