Anyone still bother with Americade?

The Americade in Lake George, NY starts this monday (June 5th), any of you still bother to go to this? We all used to, but havent in a long time. I have heard a lot of people dont care for it anymore due to the increasing restrictions.

too many cruisers and popo for me. They set up traps on the Northway and wait for people with loud pipes to get off......just wrong if ya ask me. I usually go to bike week in Laconia tho, we camp in Louden at the race track. 100% better time there than Americade.

I went up the last 2 years, I will miss this year though. Have too move on friday. I usually ride up early sat and leave on sunday. I stay with my brother, he has been going up for the last 15 years. A group of guys I ride with are going up on wed and leaving on sat. I always have fun up there..........

a guy from my work is going up, in his opinion bike week sucks and americade is alot nicer but i'd rather drive 40 minutes to laconia then like 4 hours to ny

I am thinking I still might go just to put my bike on a dyno up there. I havent seen any nevative press on the bikers' behalf like there was last year, so maybe it wont be as bad. It's worth a ride through at least. Most everyone I have talked to thus far is ditching the Americade for a different bike week. I would like to start going to Daytona Bike week, but the people around here are bitches and come up with ever excuse in the world why they "can't" go.
