Three people were killed in my area this week. I didn't know them but some of my buddies did. From what the people that were with them said, they were racing. The first bike was going over a small bridge bumped the guard rail, then slammed into the other bike. One bike had a single rider, the other had a man and a women on it. Its sad. Lately I have been thinking of getting rid of mine myself. Its just sad.

There was also rather a lot of alcohol involved, and a truck, and lots and lots of irresponsible riding. According to the newspaper it was quite nasty.

Did you know them? I heard about the alcohol just a bit ago. Knew nothing about the truck. But hell I've heard all kinds of shit. I even heard tey were running from the cops. We will never know the whole truth. Either way it sucks for them and there families.

Don't get rid of your bike, bro. To live in fear is not to live at all. Ride and do what the hell you want. Just be careful

this happened as a result of racing like someone said. it was irresponsible driving. you could be the best driver in the world both in a car and on a bike but if you're at the wrong place at the wrong time and its meant to be for you to go. there's nothing you can do to avoid it whether in a car or on a bike. i work for an insurance company and handle accident claims all day and you guys wouldn't begin to believe the stuff that I've seen or heard. if ur a good driver most of the time its because of the others wrong doings. i love to ride and i just started and believe me i would never give it up. i feel as though your best protection is to ride safely and 200% carefully. be safe out there.
