You're always going to get a better deal if you buy it from a private party. However if you want the garuntee that the dealership offers and are willing to pay more for it, I'd recommend House of Motorcycles on El Cajon Blvd. I would also recommend NOT going to Fun Bike Center. They have a bit of a reputation for sellings bikes, and having the bikes get stolen pretty quickly. There have been rumors going around that someone there is making keys and stealing bikes after they're sold.

I just had the greatest buying experience at South Bay in National City. Great folks, talk to Gary and he will do you right!

I just had the greatest buying experience at South Bay in National City. Great folks, talk to Gary and he will do you right! They dont have many used sport bikes! Theyve got good pricing on shit in general and nice gals there! (By the way AEUSN, did you buy a gix? How much OTD?) Then theres that motorcycle city deals guy, hes cool but almost everything he sells is rebuilt and salvaged. And prices them too high!

Now that you mention it, a friends bike got jacked about a month after he got it, and it was way hidden, and covered up. The bike was also out of fun bike!

My wife actually bought it for me, I don't know what she payed. I'm sure more than I would have spent in LA. There is a place there that will give you out the door pricing for just about every bike you can think of. www.lacyclesports.com
