Who here is in San Diego

I want to get together and have a bike night so we can get to know eachother and fucking go for a ride. I know that everyone has different job/trades that if we get together can use to help where needed. Jason P/S please dont post whore this all up and only post if you are in San Diego.

I am from san diego... pretty much grew up in Coronado .... but I am in OC pretty much full time now... but I will hit you guys up if I ever ride down there

I live near Balboa Park...I live in LB for a while...man, I have way more fun in Daygo than either of those places...less traffic too

I'm in La Mesa, but I work odd hours and am in the process of moving to Reno NV.

well mainly weekends are free for most people but I will have to work with everybody to make the most people happy.

i am from louisiana and here in coronado on vaction form june 8th -13th. i wish i had my bike out here b/c the roads are great compared to louisiana. i have seen so many people out on there bike today enjoying the area...

Hey Jason, New to the website. Just letting you know that I live in SD and dying to find a group to ride with. Normally ride in the LA area, Mulholland and Angeles Crest. So far I've only heard of area's like Palomar and possibly Julian. Hit me up sometime. Chris

Julian is great and my house is on the way I try to ride up there once or twice a month. As I have been saying over and over I want to set up a bike night I just need your imputs on when we can do it. Some people want to do it on friday some on saturday both are good for me but I need imputs.

This would be cool but in all honesty I am afraid of the immature riders! Not saying that anyone on here is, but Id just like to throw it out there. :thumbup:

that is why a bike night before a ride is good so we can sit down shoot the shit and set ground rules and pros and cons about group rides.

Really only one rule you need, which is ride your ride. I suppose "don't be an ass" is valid too. Also, highway between ramona and julian is cop central. Go slow.

I never try to drag knee to julian even if you could there are always cars on that road. I have a really good ride mapped out. 67N to julian 78S (i think) to 21S (I think) to campo then down telagraph cayon. not sure of the road names but I know the way.

San Diego is just SOO small! I cant go ANYWHERE without running into people I know. Goin out? Where you gonna go, PB or Downtown and thats it for clubs. And there your gonna see EVRYBODY. LA is huge and your less likely to be running into the same folks! Many places to go. People from all walks of life making it a much more interesting place to live and interesting people to meet! Yes, traffic is nuts and I cant stand it but its actually what drove me into riding. Its cool to see a pornstar chic whiz past you in a ferrari or see a moviestar at a bar and stuff like that. Never happens in SD. Back onto the bike night topic, are you in the n. county 02gsxr???

Saturdays would the best time, heck even Sundays. I work Mon thru Fri. In regards to a meeting place..I know up in OC they meet at some burger joint. Any ideas in the SD area? Tommy's in the Clairmont area comes to mind. :thumbup:

I want to say that the miramar (mera mesa, poway rd) is a good middle point for everyone. Just give me your imput on this so we can get this going

I hope you guys get something together and have a blast. I can't wait to get home and buy my next bike so I can join. When I had my bike I was dyin to ride with a group but SoCalRiders weren't cuttin it for me. Let us know how it goes. Miramar is a great middle point. I can ride Saturday or Sunday morning. I try and go early, so I do not run into the police or other riders who ride dangerous. Let me know. I usually gas up at the Shell on Miramar road; close to the 15 at 0700.

My bike wasn't on the truck today... They got one of EVERY color BUT MINE! I think this is b.s. by the way, my sales guy didn't work today so they probably didn't want to finish his sale for him... On a different note, if you know anyone lookin for a 06 600 Gix, Quinsey in Lemon Grove has about 4 of them on the floor ready to go...

I dont want to take away from this site in any way but I would like to get a group of sandiego riders together Socal GSXR or something that wwe can have bike nights and rides. there are a few here that have met me and you can ask them about me if you like but I like doing this kinda thing. right now I am working with a girl that i work with on getting my bike airbrushed and if she is good then i will bring her to a meet if you guys would like her to do some work on your stuff. the more that are interested im sure the cheaper that she will be. but right now I am going to need names of people that are interested in having a socal group for gixxers. all I want is names then I will get with tose people abut the other details.

I'm in El Cajon, and I just traded my 02 gsxr 1000 for an 05. Trying to get a paint job done in yellow and black. Any damn time you guys are going out, hit me up. I'm busy during the week with school and all but weekends are good.

I am in san diego, and am able to ride most nights and weekends. Work usually permits.

I live in Normal Heights (near the 8 & 15 off of Adams Ave) I can ride anytime, prefer weekdays since there are few cars and even almost no cops. I always wear full gear on group rides, and have chatterbox and Valentine radar. Hit me up if you want to ride! Of course, I am available most weekends too.
