I'm running a 208 on the rear, and cant find one anywhere! Even on ebay the largest I can find is 190. Does anyone know where I can find a 208 tire?

Toka 06-13-2006, 04:07 PM Dude a 190 is the section of the tyre. as in the width. A 208 is the type of tyre being a dunflop. If i were you i would be getting rid of them if you want your tyres to grip on the black stuff.
Being a 03 750 i would also say that the tyres you are using are 180 rear and 120 front. Stick with those sizes. 03gixer750 06-13-2006, 04:17 PM Congrats Capt. Obvious! I know what the width is and I have a 208-55-17. I use it because it's obviously WIDER. Now I want to find were I can order one because I cant find it anywhere. I dont want 190 I want what I have and its 208. Toka 06-13-2006, 04:26 PM Captain obvious ay?????
Sorry mate but i have never heard of a 208 size tyre. I have heard of a 200 and 230 but thats it. And they are on show bikes or poser bikes.
Here in the land of oz there aren't really a great deal of posers. For the most part we actually ride our sports bikes the way they are meant to be ridden. gixxermike 06-13-2006, 05:28 PM I too have never heard of a 208 tire size. And if you have an 03 750 you are more than likely running Dunlop D208s at a size of 180 55 17. The biggest size rear tire you can safely run on the stock rear rim is a 190. So unless you've had a custom rim and tire made I think you should check your tires again. ksmack 06-13-2006, 06:08 PM Avon goes to a 200-50-17 in a couple stlyes but I don't know why you'd want it, stick with stock sizes, there plenty wide in my opinion  RyGo 05 06-13-2006, 06:46 PM Congrats Capt. WoW........... Look at ur tire again buddy.... tires are only made in increments of 5 example: 185/70/14 190/70/14 195/75/14 200/50/17 205/55/17 etc they do not make any tire with 201/50/17 or 208/57/17
