NYC BBQ..Bear Mtn...

This thread is to get an idea of how many people are going to come..PLEASE do not replie if you are not sure ONLY if you can make it. We are going to have the BBQ up at Bear Mtn. on July 8th...All are welcome..the more the merrier....lol...there will be a $15 fee per person..all you can eat and drink...Any other questions just send a PM to me or Tullock. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

This will be my last weekend in NY as a rider in the North East. After that you guys will be seeing my posts in the South East since I am moving to SC!!! Surprise!!! Don't worry, I will still talk (shit) with you guys. And best of all (for you guys) you will have a place to stay if you want to come to Sc and ride the Tail of the Dragon with me!!! Tara and I are in for the BBQ, plus a ride the day after. That will be my last ride in NE region!!!

i know we talked at my house a little about SC, we will have to make the last ride a good one!! and by the way i am in, obviously. I will bring my wife and kids and a few buddies! I put myself down for 7 people. Dustee- i got a notebook with everbodies name that posts in this thread about going! I will keep a running list, and then check off when paid! ct

i get out around 3 im in the city... it takes me about half hour to get to my dads...and he lives about 15mins from the spot

Aim for Around 11 o'clock...

From the Tappan Zee bridge............take the NYS thruway to the Palisades Parkway North exit............it will say Bear Mountain. Stay on the Palisades all the way to the end which will be exit 18. Stay to your right and follow that road until you get to the Bear Mountain circle. Make the first RIGHT, that will be 9W. You will see the lake on your right hand side. Go to the parking lot and park your bike, scooter, car whatever. WE will be set-up somewhere near the lake. From the GW bridge.................. get on the upper level. Stay in your right lane, exit onto the Palisades parkway North. Take the palisades all the way to the end. Stay to your right on exit 18 and follow the road to the Bear Mountain circle. Make the first right which will be 9W. The lake will be on your right hand side. Go to the parking lot. Everybody should have somebody's cell # in case they get lost.

Ok, Tara and I are driving...no surprise since neither one of us have our bikes. I think I will bring my riding gear, just in case someone wants to let me take their bike for a spin!!! The BBQ was a major sucess.............we had an excellant spot, it wasn't too hot, NO RAIN!!! BIG thanks too Dustee & Tullock, they pulled it off. :bowdown: Yo Chris, your wife hooked them steaks up, they were @#$%^&* delicious!!! :clap: WE have too do that again. That was a very nice send-off for Paul & Tara.................. hey guys... right now im home miserable.. paul left around 4am. unfortunately we had to spend the last few days packing like maniacs and we really didn't get to enjoy other things. also neither of us have been on the pc. those pics are so great. the BBQ was so awesome. I really love you guys and im going to miss you all. the weather is so beautiful today and i wish i was out there riding with you all. my wrist is getting better but my hand is pretty bad. whatever the surgery did to the nerves in my hand has it really screwed it up. my whole hand is serioulsy sensitive to the touch. the doctor is postponing pt until the nerves heal. he put me on steriods to help the nerves heal. hopefully it will get better soon. have fun out there today. have fun for me. :)

what do you mean your going to miss us you mean your going to get better and ride with us again just think your wrist is going to heal by sept and you'll ride with us then just be strong and think postive you are the toughest girl i know you'll get through all of this and be a stronger person when all is said and done
