Know some one who needs a roommate?

Hey I'm looking to move to SD pretty soon. I'm in need of a room in Downtown SD or La Mesa. If you know of any one or any services please let me know. All I require is a room and a garage :D

I have a friend who has an extra room I think out in el cajon right next to la mesa (btw la mesa and downtown are not near each other) I don't know about the garage situation as I've only ventured to her place once at night but if I remember correctly she lives on the bottom floor and is hardly home.. Park the bike in the living room hahaha. Can't really think of anyone else right now sorry... If you where moving to oc I have an extra room and a garage if you could squeeze another bike in there

Ok dude. Little reality check. This is San Diego. Very few apt complex's offer garages. So if you need a garage, you'll be looking at a house with room mates. Houses are usually more expensive, but there are quite a few in the college area which is right between La Mesa and Down Town.

Come to think of it your right... I don't know of any apts complexes off the top of my head in sd that does have garages... I know a few in south bay in which some of them have like these car ports they tossed up a wall on one side and a door on so its kind of like a garage

Houses are usually more expensive, but there are quite a few in the college area which is right between La Mesa and Down Town. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I know here in Jersey 3 or more bedroom apartments are usually tiny but houses have a decent amount of space. I prefer a house over an apartment but am flexible. I'm just trying to get out there. If I need to make adjustments later on I don't mind doing so.

It's time for that change. After much thought I ended up with Cali. I started out with Georgia (my best friend's brother moved there a few years ago) considered many other places I was stuck on warmer climates for quite some time. :hmmm: When I consider not moving to warmer weather I was going to do Chicago. I even consider Canada and Europe, maybe when I'm a little older. After a while I settled on California but originally San Francisco. A buddy tried to talk me into LA (she lives in the wood). I decided I didn't want to live any where mentioned in a rap song :headshake My job has a site in La Jolla and they are the happiest people in the world. (Must be lot of ganja out there) I spoke with many of them for extended periods of time. It took more convincing from other people that made me settle with San Diego. I'll tell you this much, people on Craig’s List are crazy no matter where they are. Why does every one want a female roommate???

LOL La Jolla means The Jewel. Thats why they are happy. Don't expect to live in La Jolla unless you make 6 figures plus. If you are gonna be working in La Jolla, forget downtown or La Mesa. Look in Clairmont, Kearny Mesa, Mira Mesa area. Lots of young profesionals who rent out houses and need room mates. Plus its really close to La Jolla with good freeway access and lots of stuff going on in the Mesa's.

BTW downtown is maybe 20 minutes from la jolla 30 depending on where in la jolla and that strictly fwy driving with no traffic... la mesa from la jolla in traffic I don't even want to think about it!

PB is a party town dude. Everyone lives there for at least a year. I did my year. Got more split tail and hang overs than I care to remember. Its amazing I came out of that year with no STD's :P Anyways. Ya, how much you lookin to pay a month?

I don't think I'll be working in La Jolla. The center I work at now is currently taking over the jobs within the company through out the US. La Jolla will be down sizing soon. ATS is what they call it. lol :shhh: Initially I won't be employed. I've got a few leads on jobs but I don't have a SD address so I'm not getting any commitments from any one. I won't be getting another bike until at least January. Why did you leave Chicago? I knew a chick from there she was a lil wacky. Speaking of the women I come a cross in SD seem a little air headish and loose. Is this the norm in SD?

No not really. Depends on where you go to meet women. PB, ya air headish and loose. There are all kinds of women in SD though.

my parents moved...i wasn't of voting age so to speak so i had no choice.... well im not into girls personally but i don't consider my self that way....
