Hey yeah the Speedfreak crew and I went down Friday and Sat night we got a room right at the crown Plaza it was def good times...lots of cars but we were there to show love to the stunt riders doing the events stunt show...alot of the guys in the show did our Freaky Friday event and we have developed close bonds with alot of those guys so we def show love when we are in town...I have tons of pics from the event from the stunt show to the bikini contest..so stay tuned and ill have my girl Cpat post em up soon as she can.... gixxerk3 07-02-2006, 07:28 AM It was a real good show this year. Downtown was great. Tons of bikes and more burnouts in the street then past years. Fun times. question.com 07-02-2006, 07:40 AM were was this? I know it wasn't in RI 02Telefonica 07-02-2006, 08:18 AM Worcester Tazz Man 07-02-2006, 08:55 AM I wasnt happy with the way to $10.00 people to death...10 bucks to get 9in for the day 10 bucks if you want to sit on the bleachers then another 10 bucks if you wanted to go to the show over at the park.....it was just crazy every time you turned around they were charging you for something....luckly i got my crew free pass's for covering the event but ...still for a family going for the day it would be very expensive.
Also they had this thing where no one could video tape the stunts. If you wanted to video tape the stunts..you had to sign their release form giving them rights to your film..it was nuts...and every 5 seconds you were hasseled by some one going wheres you band wheres your band...its like dam bro easy its right here relax....so yeah over all i wasnt very impressed with the event...i went and supported the stunt guys covred what was there for bikes but i think next year ill pass...... :headshake 02Telefonica 07-02-2006, 09:25 AM I prefer bike weekend in Worcester to Nationals... much of the Hillbilly crowd is weeded out and they aren't as strict and insane about charging you for everything... assuming they have it again this summer im definately going gixxerk3 07-02-2006, 11:00 AM Yeah, you guys are right. Some stuff did get annoying. Thats why it was funny to see everyone doing burnouts in the street, getting back at them for being a pain.
But just in case you do decide to go next year, just pre register for the whole weekend and it is only $18 for a wrist band. And if you pre register a vehicle for the whole weekend it is only $30 and that comes with 2 wrist bands. Tazz Man 07-02-2006, 07:02 PM Yeah, you guys are right. Some stuff did get annoying. At least he used his blinker changing lanes!!! cpat 07-04-2006, 06:36 PM so stay tuned and ill have my girl Cpat post em up soon as she can....

http://www.speedfreakinc.com/content/gallery.html go to events, click "summer nationals", sit back, enjoy. Simple as that. :D tweezY 07-05-2006, 07:33 PM since when did my hometown have bike week, when is it? 02Telefonica 07-05-2006, 09:55 PM It's more like bike weekEND kinda thing, sorta like nationals. Smaller obviously, and only takes place in downtown worcester, but they do the same thing: block off the same section of main street, flame throwers, stunt shows, etc... I havent heard anything about it this year but in previous years it's been fun. P.S. if you're from Worcester lemme know if you wanna go riding sometime I'm always lookin for someone to go cruise with, hit some twisties, etc... | |
