Vengeance 07-07-2006, 05:43 PM So in my deal for the bike I had them throw in the first service for free, becasue they wouldn't budge the final 200$ that I wanted.
I sent my bike in to have LoJack installed today, and they were going to do first service and fix the tank fairing piece which was mis-aligned all at the same time...
So they come to pick my bike up from work over 1.5 hours late, causing me to have to miss my lunch plans... Now they call me 40 mins before I'm off work and say "We never said we were going to do the first service for free."
Now they have NOT done my first service, and are going to be 45 minutes late bringing my bike back to me at work... Friday at 6PM i'll be missing the best happy hour of the summer (a combined 3 birthday's)...
I'm going down there tomorrow and I'm going to air all this dirty laundry while they're uber busy... I'm going to file a BBB complaint also along with posting how horrible they are on every forum I can find... I have 2 friends who were sitting right there with me when they said it... and guess what NEITHER of them are buying their bikes there now.
LESSON TO BE LEARNED...
Quinsey Powersports is a horrible CHEATING, LYING, STEALING dealership!! Never buy from them. Their Customer Serivce sucks, and they are DISHONEST! :2hard
Oh, and Jeremy if you're reading this, I told you I was coming right on here to do this, so kiss my ass and I hope saving that 100$ on service was worth it, because I just sent out a mass e-mail to all 80 of our employees explaining the situation and asking for a ride home... Wonder if that'll hurt your bottom line bitches. :2hard :2hard :2hard :2hard :2hard
Oh man I feel much better now :bounce
chrome600 07-07-2006, 06:51 PM Good. It would be so easy for them to do it anyway. oil change and tighten ur chain. Fuckin bastard stealerships :2hard
bumblebeegsxr 07-08-2006, 01:59 AM Quinsey Lemon Grove ....with these new idiots working there? YEP...I agree! Dude I spoke with told me it would be extra to order the color bike i wanted AND that the total would be in the 13500 range. I told him that 600's dont go for that, he tells me that its the price it'll be let go for! Well I guess thats why this late 20's early 30's dude is selling motorcycles for a living hmm? Lights are on but nobody's home!
bboy_RES 07-08-2006, 03:37 AM well a guy quoted me 13k for a 600 at San Diego House of Motorcycles. anyways, i ordered a backpack online from Quinsey Powersports of Lemon Grove. i ordered it on july 1st. i called them to find out the status of my order and they kept transferring me to different people and someone finally tells me that "the person that does online order isn't here right now so we'll call you back." i called them yesterday and they said that my order wasn't in their system and then they called me back and told me that the order was barely processed today. one whole week to process an order? gimme a break! and then i STILL have to pick it up from the store when it arrives.
n1sniper 07-08-2006, 10:19 AM I hope you get it all worked out.. Thing that sucks is everyone will tell you anything to make a sale.. but without it in writing you get screwed... Go show your ass though at the dealer... For some reason whe you start to f*ck with potention sales they seem to listen to what you have to say ! Good luck & let us know what happens... FYI exoticsportbike.com sucks ass to ! thread (http://www.gsxr.com/showthread.php?t=15703&highlight=exoticsportbike.com)
stackle2 07-08-2006, 11:57 AM damn sniper...you still pissed about that slipon?
Lyte- 07-08-2006, 12:44 PM did you ever get your slip on?
Vengeance 07-08-2006, 01:21 PM HAH! Score Vengeance - 1 Quinsey - 0...
When I showed up this morning and started talkin to the dude browsing the bikes immediately my service was free... I guess they thought I was bullshitting... :arsenal
They tried to pull that crap with me too... They have 2 blue 600's sitting there and a used 1K. I got my bike OTD for MSRP which I expected. Their first paper offer had like 2000$ delivery charge. I crumpled the paper up and said I'm going back to Fun Bike... Immediately whatever I wanted was ready to go...
So if you're in the market for a 600 Blue, they have 2 on the lot. Go and tell them Leonard sent you and said you sold him the bike for MSRP and he got OTD for 9800 after 2 bullshit "finance" fees and tax.
*EDIT* also make sure you get that 1st service for free, along with 10-25% off any gear...
n1sniper 07-10-2006, 12:22 AM Glad you got your service taken care of .. thats just BS...
Lyte & Stackle... Naw I'm not really pissed till I think I about it ! LOL .. I ended up having to go to San Diego pick up a complete system for a 96 750 & pull off my header & midpipe... so I got my WOLF on .. I really like it too !
R1HOOLIGAN 07-10-2006, 07:15 AM The major problems with stealerships nowdays is that since biking has become so popular, guys opening franchised dealerships have not one clue about bikes......simply in it for the money without a care for the customers. Many of them also own auto dealerships, and send auto salesmen over to sell bikes. When bike dealers were few and far between, most were operated by true bikers who knew what the hell they were selling. Nowdays, walk into a Suzuki dealer and say "GIXXER", the salesman might send you to the small appliance section at Walmart. Thank God there's a good Suzuki/Yamaha dealer here where I got both my bikes OTD (including tax, tag, etc) for about sticker. Another thing...they may charge $65/hr labor, but don't pay the mechanics S$%T, so there's a large turnover of novice mechanics....Man, if could hit LOTTO, I'd open up a dealership and run it right!

Damn 13,500 for 600..thats to much. I paid 8,900 tax, title, license. The sticker price for the bike was 8,100 and got 10% of gear. But i guess i f'd up b/c i did not ask for first service free. I am down in the south so maybe being in S.D. causes the inflation in price.
cwsims84 07-19-2006, 01:37 PM I understand the feeling....when I bought my bike they told me that they were throwing in all new gear for free, go with my buddy to get his bike two months later with the same bike same deal, his was a $1000 cheaper, so I call HSBC to find out was put on the invoice with my bike, low and behold $1000 worth of gear!
GixxerFX 07-23-2006, 01:10 PM I just left Quinsey ... Lemon Grove.. and I talked to rather plump gentleman named ED. In all honesty, I can't picture the guy on a bike at all..
Nonetheless, they have two GSX-R600s on the lot. I won't actually be ready to purchase a bike until late Sept, but they tried telling me that they would be the only dealer within 100 miles that would have the 600s in stock.
Vengeance 07-23-2006, 01:23 PM Were they the 2 blue ones still? For some reason they're like the only dealer who can't sell GSXR's during the summer... I just don't get it.

Yep, the two blue ones are still there.. They just seem shady, that's why the bikes are still there.
Cisco419 07-29-2006, 11:04 PM Well I just bought an 05 600 from Quincy of El Cajon for 9k out the door including a $300 Icon helmet. The bike was brand freaking new with 0 miles. About 4-6 months before I was quoted about 11k for one at the Lemon Grove location. My limit on my Suzuki card was 9k so I used that as leverage, but they told me that they were the only ones who had 600's in stock for 100 miles also. I got them to get everything ready and in writing and they didnt wanna throw in gear so I left. But the next day they called me back and said we'll give you the bike with the helmet you wanted for 9k out the door delivered so I bought it, but I didnt get them to throw in the service, I forgot. I now know when I go in for my service I'm gonna hassle them and try to get the service for free. Now I just gotta wait till I get my frame sliders and I'll be ready!!!

I have a question..
Why did you go with the '05 instead of an '06?
Cisco419 07-30-2006, 09:54 PM The 06 would have been more than I was able to charge on my Suzuki card and they werent budging. Plus I figured they would be more flexible trying to get an 05' model out than an 06' plus I was really pushing them to give me some gear for free. I think if I would have waited and tried getting a better deal later on I wouldn't have gotten anything.
Vengeance 07-30-2006, 10:05 PM Can't get a yellow 06 600 anyway, if that's what you were going for...
Cisco419 07-31-2006, 12:34 AM Well I would have prefered the black and grey one, but then again I used to have a yellow 68 Camaro that got all kinds of attention so I had a few flashbacks too
PacificGSXR1000 07-31-2006, 02:39 AM The guy probably has the crated bikes stored and just playing the salesman scalping people. A guy can't be a suzuki dealer with out buying a certain amount of bikes and only having a couple 06's is not the number and I doubt he has sold very many.
