LA freeways...is it just me????

My wife and I rode to San Berdu last tuesday to see her mother and watch the fireworks. Things were fine going south till we hit LA then the road surface became more like a concrete enduro course. The bike held up fine to the jack hammer effect, my wife and I however did not fair so well. My wife being small framed got the worst of it. Anyone else find these freeways to be unbearable?

yep..know what ya mean braaaaaa................ LA's freeways are shot out. Compton area is REAL bad. LA freeways are jacked. And watch out for the freakin' couches and tires and other misc. crap you'll have to dodge!

I ride them everyday. You get used to it. 101, 405, 5, you name it. 405 is the worst I thnk. They need to redo it.

oh yah the fwy's are F'd thats for sure.... but like ball said you start to get use to it

i take 60 or 10 everyday. and 101 sux....so i never ride my bike there

A black coutch just sitting in a dark spot on the street and couldn't see it till you was right up on it. And the damn speed limit was 45mph on that street. I dodged it bairly.

Back in December (in the car), I barely missed a refrigerator across the #1 lane in an unlighted desolate stretch of freeway west of Palm Springs. The freeways out in the Palm Springs area are much better than greater LA. But, I like to ride on roads with a little more character (aka twisties).
