What do you preferr? (Changin gears)... [Archive]

Just curious, what do you guys like to do, switch gears right after coming up, or later in the rpm range and why? Do you just shift or clutch when you shift... This was a discussion between a friend and I, just want to see what everyone else does... I'll go first... I switch early if I am going to shift at all, I don't go as fast that way, and I usually dont clutch due to the lag in time between gears-- it makes it hard to keep the wheel up...

If you clutch your more likely to flip I fly swauted my self on a dirt bike this way
