I love it when shops carry tons of accessories and gear. I go there even when I dont want anything, just to look at the glory.

The problem with carying all the lastest gear is that most people will use your store as a FREE FITTING ROOM then go home and buy online where it will be cheaper, JMHO

You'd be looking to spend about 20k to just get started just on gear alone. Most of your accounts will want you to do huge buy ins and you wouldn't even start at a good dealer cost. Also you have to a store front with full time empoylees. The rep, will bye all time to sell you shit and make sure your open. You would have to advertise the crap out of the store and still only sell to a small percentage of ppl walking in. Cause they will just try shit on and go buy on the internet. Trust me I own a store before the internet hit big. Did ok but alot of close doors to try and open. All the local dealers in town were complainin to the rep cause i was selling stuff barely over cost to make a few bucks to pay rent. When the store closed i went to a 6line dealership and saw the same thing there. Its a cut throat busniess now. If you do get it going let me know I send some ppl your way and support you as much as I can.
