new lid what do you think?

Hey my new lid came in today! the bike new bike will be ready on friday! the bucket does not match the k6 750 yellow and black worth a damn but this arai fits like Shatners hair piece. i love it what do you think? post up some picks of your lids id like to see what everyones got!

nice. its ok that it doesnt match. only squids color code their gear. experienced riders go for fit and feel over fashon.

Yeah, took me a while to find it. Now I see em popping up on ebay, but want to run down to a local shop and try on the TC-1 (red dragon) one to get the right fit. We'll see. :thumbup:

I have currently four helmets: Norick Abe (blue), GSXR RF1000 (currently for sale), Norick Abe (Red) and a Nicky Hayden Laguna (brand new-not worn). I plan to pick up 3 more next year but that's nowhere close to this one guy I know that has 30 helmets.

why does everyone like Shoei?

why does everyone like Shoei? It ventilates so much better than the others. The closest I think is the Arai Quantum and Corsair (RX77). Also, the Shoei is way more quiet than the others, especially the X-Eleven.

why does everyone like Shoei? they make a great product and it does vent better than the arai at low speed lots of history with the shoei as well great graphics but for me the arai fits my round head better. the shoei rf1000 was a good fit but it was like 300$ more bucks than the arai i got at cost for 380$ish

I liked my arai better than my shoei ya well i like my HJC when i go a certain speed and let off the gas the wind makes it sound like i have a blow off valve and i get excited becasue for a split second i think i have a turbo :lol:

I get all my helmets at cost. talking about the top models for each brand (arai, shoei x-11, shark rsr2, suomey extreme, agv titech, etc etc etc) in race replica all run for bout $430 (cost of course). If your getting the top of the line helmet from these brands, price shouldn't be an issue or decieding which brand to go with, one brand isn't cheaper than the other (the ones I listed) their all in the same boat, you just have to know where to shop. Some places get better deals on shoei helmets, then arai, or some are better on agv pricing, and vice versa.
