BP hates me

i clutch up second at about 35 and can keep it up till about 85-90. it feels good and it feels like its getting light up front a couple times thru the wheelie..... but i cant seem to hold it there.... and i am going annoyingly fast when i go down... sorry for the stupid post, im just angry that i cant hold her at BP...and my throttle control is garbage i guess... i'll get ya some vids soon... til then im gonna go hit some straights and practice!

when you clutch up your not bringing it up fast enough. bring it up right away then it will get real light and you shouldn't take off like a rocket. Make sure you cover your rear brake.

Make sure you cover your rear brake. i'll have to try that approach.... ur right, i do only clutch about 1/2 way and use the throttle to bring it up the rest of the way... and during that is where im gaining all the speed.

When you guys are using that method of bringing the front end up, what does your clutch grip look like? Are you guys using all 4 fingers? I haven't really tried the clutch method yet, just pulling in the clutch a tiny bit to see what happens. I swear it feels like my left hand wants to slip off. Unless you don't need to pull in the clutch all the way, then it wouldn't squish your fingers if you have one or two wrapped around the grip. Thoughts?

if your going to slip the clutch then use one or two fingers, which ever you feel comfortable with. I use one. If your going to hold in the clutch then blip your throttle you should only use one or two also. Oh yea and don't pull the clutch in all the way, just far enough so that it engages.

i use my pointer finger and slip it and WHAMMY shes up and moving!
